I'll be sure to check your plays out but of course I'll have to cross check with Ray's Outlaw service plays before getting my feet wet.

Nicknames

Hawk, always love to check out your total plays and follow them often. There was a thread here last year about the off the wall nicknames. Things get very fast paced and busy during the season and sometimes trying to figure out who you are picking can be challenging and time consuming. With all due respect, would you be so kind as to post the actual name of the team that you have a play on to take any guesswork out of it and save time? :0008

2-0--started off on a good note hope the luck continues .

Leaving early tomorrow to travel to the panhandle of Idaho. Hear Sandpoint is a great place. Hitting a few wineries in Idaho and then down to Walla Walla for a few more. Not back until Friday so won't have much time if any to cap. Stick with the 3 I still have remaining and maybe and maybe a few more late additions.

Thanks, jng, but honestly, I don't have time to look up all of the guess work nicknames. I do get most of them, but with work, kids and trying to get plays in, sometimes time is at a premium. Why not just post the given name of the play and not try to be cute? I've followed hawk's plays for years and do appreciate the effort that he puts into his picks and posting them here.

Best of luck to everyone this football season!

Just got back from a nice wine trip to Washington and Idaho. If you never have been to Sandpoint Id--you must go--beautiful country with a great winery there. Also one of the neatest looking winery grounds/estates I have ever visited in Spokane--Arbor Crest-up on the hill-cheers--back to football time now--gl

Speed--I don't know Chinese-funny

Longhorn-I don't do it to be cute. I have known these teams by their nicknames since I was a little kid and that's my 1st thought. Sometimes I am rushed also and type the 1st thing that comes to my mind- I hear what you are saying and will "try"--gl everyone. Won a couple of big trivia contests because I know college nicknames so well.

2-0 start and still have 3 going--Tulane-Syracuse and Wisconsin.
Will look tomorrow and might have a few more but will be cautious the 1st week just to see how things shake out

Longhorn--have a great year. Longhorns should be greatly improved.

Glad you enjoyed your trip Hawk... Back in the 70s I would drag the trailer to Idaho from CA and make my way to Lake Pend'oreille just outside Sandpoint.... Used to catch Kokanee out of the Lake.... Simply beautiful country and so relaxing...... Glad your back, I'm drowning in HSF
