Who?s this ?

Come on Trevor, even I knew that one.....not. :mj07:

I had to look it up also. Again, took extra time looking up in nicknames wikipedia. The ones with school names abbreviated are easy and much appreciated. I have been burnt twice by "bulldogs" a few years back and "wildcats" in the last year or so with same nickname totals being exact or within a half point in football for one and basketball for the other. I chose wrong one of course. :facepalm:So now you have to clarify for sure which one. I tried on the "Trees" thing, broke it down in my mind must be lumberjacks so looked those two schools up and totals are nowhere near the same so frustratingly have to ask, after 10 minutes trying. Do not see correlation with Trees and Stanford nickname. Always been Cardinal to me. Good luck all. Thanks for sharing picks hawkeye.

I'll try dan do better. Always been Stanford trees to me--gl

:142smilie:142smilie OK, so you walk into a home/ bar with friends and you promptly say, "does anyone know what the Trees score is" or " did you see the trees game yesterday how it ended?" Seriously hawkeye? I have been a fan of yours forever on this site but "C'mon Man!!!"

I literally spent 10-15 minutes trying to figure out of wasted time when if you put Stan U23 FH it would be so easy. And 1 less letter to type. Thanks for trying to do easier/better as you said. Truly much appreciated.

Now onto a more important subject, What wine was it? Wish we could have had some wine at the Madjacks outing this summer in your home city of Denver. Sorry you missed it and the snow end of June. :142smilie

Lastly, why Stanford Trees? Who else with you has this been their name??

Good luck bud

Their mascot is a big evergreen tree. I'll admit that occassionally I have to dig to figure out Hawkeye's picks but this one was fairly easy.

OK, I guess I stand corrected.

My bad, still took 15 mins to guess and I am not from the west coast. We have two guys that ask what the "Trees" score is/was. I will just wait until someone else asks details or verifies hawkeyes names he calls teams.

Sorry bases did not see your post until now. I don't like either game. You would think Bucks would be an over. Mia I have no clue--gl

Actually Stanford has no official mascot. The official name of the university is Leland Stanford Junior University:shrug:
