Good to have a fellow oenophile Musca. Hawkeye, I too have gotten into some Italians after visiting this summer with the family. Seems like prosecco has become a norm early evenings. Love it. And great value compared to champagne. Tonight opened an Amarone (my personal favorite) from Tenuta Novare. 2011 and it is like liquid raisins. Got it from WTSO.com which you are aware of. Others from Lastbottle.com No, did not buy any more David Bruce, have ventured to try many others, because still have about 3 cases of various vintages of his. Musca, I will support your wifes site and get some stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys...

Thanks guys...

Appreciate the kind words- Amarone are great! I have an Amarone that has the most amazing bright died cherry fruity palate... PLease allow me to find my tasting notes so I do not misquote it.

Those Amarones are amazing because they will age forever and the depth gets better and better. If like a brighter palate and more fruit try the Valpolicellas.... Allegrini is a great producer.

If your dog/cat has specific dietary concerns or issues please contact her- SHe can make you specific stuff.. All handmade, small batch, and no BS ingredients. We have a diabetic cat so she is used to making special things. She has more than a few clients with animals with inflammation issues, allergies, etc. She is amazing.

WE are actually wanting to open a "nursing home" of sorts for geraitric animals so they do not pass away in a shelter or something. I am going to work on getting the house set so I can try and adopt and help the older animals pass on peacefully and with love. My wife and I cannot have kids due to Cancer so the animals are our children. I have the most amazing Basenji/Husky mix and a Pitt/Lab; They are amazing and quite frankly part of the reason I am still alive. Like I said earlier we also have an 18 year old male cat with failing kidneys and diabetes... but he is a champ! They make life so great!

If you come across this one you should try it; "Le Difese" by Tenuta San Guido.... We were actually responsible for this wine being in the US. We had exclusive import rights to the wine and we were going through 30+ cases a month. It was amazing and it really is a baby cousin of Sassicaia.... The original Super Tuscan.

Take care

Jason
