Stop eating 4 steaks and loaded tater every night. Lay off the 100 beers per week.

I thought you were one of the hippies that hate red meat and always try to convert other people from it??

To think all this time - I have been ordering steak at restaurants because I know your hacky sack goes down the gutter when I eat one.....

I like steak. I'm just saying gulping down 7 a week isn't good for the figure.

Eat your steak man, I'm happy for you.

doo,
have had 3 different treadmills. each one was a good thing to hang my and my wife's clothes on as we had them in bedroom. all were name brands and gave all three away.

good luck on whatever you buy

doochuk asked the question and started the thread.....

someone in CO has been standing to close to a microwave oven.

Merry Christmas to you and the family!

i find a treadmell easier on my knees...my eliptical just sits until summer ..

if you want something a little more flexible,i`d go for the treadmill...i use mine 5-6 days a week...a brisk walk...half hour/45 minutes depending on time and "want to".......

eliptical`s good, imo,if you`re already in really decent shape...but if you`re looking to gradually work into shape,a treadmill might be safer...

a short stint on an eliptical can put serious strain on an out of shape(4 steaks and taters kinda guy) person`s heart...right out of the box...

i have seasonal asthma..didn`t know what the shortness of breath was due to(started last year)...i`m no longer in my 30`s,so i went for a stress test and blew em away...i attribute it to my treadmill work...

just my opinion...love my treadmills..

g.l.,man...

What is your budget? Do you want folding or non-folding?

Consumer reports has precor rated as #1, precor 9.31. It's pricey though at around 3500.

Their best buy in the non-folding category is the AFG 13.0 AT.

Their best buy in the folding category is the Sole F63.

i have one of the shitty proforms from one of the shopping networks....and a smaller one(evolve).......

had the proform for 5 years without a hitch...the evolve for 3....i bought a treadmill care kit(lubricant applied to a long sponge on a stick..goes between the deck and the belt) and i open them up and vacuum every so often.....squirt some wd-40on the moving parts...

you can get the lesser ones for around 5/7 hundy...they seem pretty decent for home use...

or,you can get the gym quality that saint mentioned...pretty expensive,though...

they all come with decent warranties...
