also, regarding all inclusives...........

have been to a couple in Mexico in Playa Del Carmen and they were ok, but went for a week to the Hard Rock in Punta Cana and it was heads and shoulders above the Mexican joints imo especially as far as food and drink - plus a casino and sportsbook on site

Nice

Some of the best ceviche I've ever had was at ceviche 105.... (just saying)... I would definitely check out the drawing room at the shelborne hotel. Morenos is a cool little local spot to grab a drink... Barton G. Is always fun... Bolivar has great food. Havana 1957 isn't bad little touristy but it's alright. Bodega is a cool spot. Like that place.. fish called Avalon is pretty good... I could sit there and drink and eat all day... another place I like. Taquiza makes some pretty good tacos. Small and over priced but it's a cool little spot. Charlotte bakery is where I go after a long night... I think I like the bazaar in Miami better than the one here at the sls... some pretty good damn stuff there... food and drinks... fago de chao.. I could eat there everyday... Red is pretty good. Roof top bar at hotel 1 is cool.

Of course you got the Clevelander...or mangos.. night life... meh...

Whwre ya staying ? Anything in particular your looking for?

just the wife and I so really just looking for cool bars and good restaurants - staying in the 1400 block of ocean drive, looks like a half mile south of the Shelborne

not a fan of touristy at all so all the Lincoln mall stuff is basically out (except for a place called sushisamba that was pretty cool, like a 70's drug/disco scene sort of)

thanks for the suggestions let me know if you got anything else

Nice,

I see...

Check out the courtyard at setai. It's beautiful. Drawing room is cool... employees only is nice... Barton g is unique as well as bazar... talk about a 70s cocaine seen me and my girlfriend stayed at the shore club earlier this year.... had a great time.... I like the the rooftop bar as well.. I think that's that worth checking out... like I said fago de chao is awesome if you like meat. They come around with about 20 different kinds of meats/cuts... also bolivar has great food and not so expensive... live music...

Florida yes, twice.....Fort, no.....Townhouse a block from the water, kids want to scuba/fish/sun/relax.....TH comes with a road ready golf cart and short distance to everything they are looking for.....

This trip is all their planning, we've tossed ideas.....Fall storms have altered some things they were looking to do, life lesson for them so they adapted......It's been tough working around College Break and High School Break....:0008

water taxi is a nice ride all the way up the intercoastal to Hollywood. the Margaritaville stop has an outdoor bar right there on the dock.

Roccos Tacos on Las Olas Blvd is some great Mexican food too if youre into that:0074
