The hardcore righties on here will have a long list of excuses as to why they will vote for this lifelong criminal. And then, when the average person decides not to vote for someone indicted SEVERAL times, they will be fucking baffled and claim (again) it has to be fraud. These people are out of their minds.

Sadly Trump destroying America has a trickle down effect on Canada, thankfully only about 10 percent of what he does impacts Canada but that 10 percent still matters.

And oh yeah America and Canada trade more than any other two countries, so yeah he plays/played a role in that as well.

1) Sometimes one country does something that effects another country, it happens all the time, especially if that country is neigbours with that particular country. In the case of Canada and the USA, you can go back over 100 years and see how one particular decision effects both countries. And sometimes one of those countries can't do anything about it, they just have to live with it. Does that mean all of one countries problems is because of what another country does, of course not. Does that mean you blame another country for all that is wrong with your country, of course not. There are literally thousands of examples of this over the years. In the case of Canada/USA relations it is better for both countries when you don't have a complete shit bag as President, ya know one that tries to overthrow the gov't, and isn't a complete moron, yeah I'd say that would be best for all that are involved. Does that mean all of Canada's problems have to do with Trump, of course not, but some things Trump did when he was in office DID play a role in Canadian life. Ya know there is this thing called the Environment, it doesn't give a fuck about land border. And Mr. Trump wasn't much for helping out Climate Change and shit now was he. And as mentioned earlier look at the Trade debacle Trump had in place when he was in charge. Those policies effect not only Americans but Canadians as well, the two biggest trading partners in the world are USA and Canada, so yeah when Trump is around it effects not just those in the USA. As stated, what Trump does has little to do with Canada (or any other Country) but it sure ain't nothing.

A good example of this is when you had thousands of Americans who were Drafted during the Vietnam War crossing the border into Canada. Pierre Trudeau refused to deport them back to the USA and that sure pissed off a ton of Americans, especially Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. A perfect example of one Country "fucking over" another Country and that particular Country just has to live with it. Point being, whomever is "in charge" of Canada or USA doesn't just effect one particular country, it effects both. Yes some years it really doesn't matter what is going on "over the border" but some years it does.

In the case of Trump, it matters more than ever. On behalf of the World (not just Canada) please get rid of Trump.

As mentioned previously, I am quite happy with things on the political front right now in Canada. Some changes I'd make if I were in charge, but overall things are pretty good.

My opinion, all gov'ts ("First World Countries") are inept, it is just the question of how inept they are. All gov'ts are corrupt, just a question of how corrupt they are. If "the people in gov't" care about the Country things usually work out ok. If they only care about themselves then there is where you have problems. And to take it a step further......lots of people blame their gov't for everything that is wrong in their lives, and sometimes it has nothing to do with the gov't, it has to do with the person you look at in the mirror. So in your above quote when you comment on ones deteriorating politics being the result of ones inept government, it sometimes has nothing to do with the gov't in charge it has to do with society as a whole. And to make it even worse, millions of people vote (countries where votes actually count) AGAINST their interests🤦‍♂️
