New Mexico -6.5 over Iona ***
Its the same old Iona..all offense and no defense..but there best player Griffin punched his coach about 4 times and has been thrown off...they have McGill probably the most underrated gd in the country..he can score,shoot pass,etc..but can't play defense..Iona has Crawford who can score but they just beat Albany by 4 after losing most of the game..they will be in the finals of the MAAC and probably make the dance again but the Lobos are have size inside..there 3 top scorers are 6'7,6,9 ...they have Manigualt and Kuiper and Malc ...front court has a big advantage..Mathis at gd is solid...backcourt is a work in progress...think Lobos attack inside and play some defense..Iona will get its points though with juco transfer Agee helping out....think NM can wins this by 8 -10 pts...to strong and athletic..
Memphis +10.5 over LSU **
LSU's little gd Watersis avg 15 pts,11 steals,12 assists ...Reid the 6'10 kid can score and rebound..LSU has scored 97 and 93 pts in 1st 2 games..but think Davenport if he continues to play like he did the other nite vs Lehigh can keep this close..they don't have the size of the Tigers but think this game stays close.
