OK so it is obvious Guida is in phenominal shape and has great cardio, but come on, does anyone else agree he is on something? I could probably care less but he has to take a UFC legal substance. The way he was bouncing around after he just got beat down made me dislike him. Dude you just lost dont look happy. I am not looking for an argument just curious if anyone had any ideas what substances he could take legally that would give him additional energy. He could snort some lines days before his match and have it out of his system in hours. Not like that would help him I'm just saying it is possible to get past testing. Maybe he just pounds energy drinks, who knows. Guida will be a stepping stone forever in this division. He was blessed with cardio just doesnt have the know how to complete his game.

Holy shit !
You want to see a BAD decision?
This is THE WORST !!!!!!!
SO SHADY, too. Why does Buffer not announce the scores?
Two weeks in a row with this inconsistent BS.
At UFC 99 there were no scores announced for Fisher/Uno. ANNOUNCE THE SCORES !!!!!!
I can't even imagine the outcry that would occur in a championship boxing match if, after 12 rounds, they just raised some guys hand and no scores were announced. It's beyond ridiculous ! It's DIRTY I tell ya !

Watch this fight - I mean MAYBE you can give Melvin round 2, but 1 and 3 were clear. and 3 was dominant.

He is clearly on something.
Don't have a clue what it might be.
Maybe he is chugging Red Bull in the back or something, but nobody has that much natural energy.
And yes he has no clue how to beat a top tier or even middle tier guy other than a takedown and smoother approach until the round is over.
Guy has ZERO skills.

Guys, Guida isn't on anything. It's just him and how he is. Here's why he's not on something, because if he was there would be a line full of UFC guys(starting with BJ) looking to get the same stuff. I really think fighting is his high and he gets energy from it. I'm sure a lot of it is just his stick as well, trying to show that he's not hurt and still ready to go.

I still think he could take Rampage in a Red Bull contest.:mj07:

Some fighters have been showing some unusual extra energy of late in boxing.
Look at B Hopkins vs Pavlik compared to his previous 3 or 4 fights. He looked like a 44 year old guy going on 24 in that fight all of a sudden.
The energy level is night and day.
Look at Sugar Shane's last fight vs. Margarito and you will see the same thing.
Those two guys were showing serious signs of slowing down in previous fights and now they are both fighting like they are in there early 20's as neither showed any signs of tiring like previous bouts.
They came up clean(I guess), you never know with boxing. There is nothing you can tell me that will convince me those two have not got there hands on something.

"the bunker"
guida reminds me of an old boxer(who started out in karate) who was very similar in style(and looks, come to think of it,even the hair)........just threw punches from bell to bell...had little power...he just kept throwing punches...not really skilled, but he had some success...until he took too many beatings...

his name was troy dorsey....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Dorsey

pretty amazing guy...made some enjoyable fights...maybe it`s some kind of genetic thing?...

I used to love watching Troy Dorsey.

I just watched the Tibau/Guillard fight, and I don't think it was hugely controversial. I don't see that Tibau ever really damaged him, and Guillard landed more powerful shots. Kind of a chitty fight altogether. Tibau looked much much better in his fight against Stephens.

I agree mate.
Joe is a strong dude and it might be Diaz long, slender neck that gets cranked this time.

For the other fights-

I love Sanchez but not at those odds.
I like Ross Pearson at +165.
I like James Wilks at +280.
I like Dollar at +215.
I love Osipczac at -200 (But Frank DOES have a punching bags heart).

This card could be an underdogs delight!!

Good luck all :toast: :toast: :toast:

GREAT JOB PAULIE !
You know what I have noticed about the TUF finals? At least the last 2? The dogs are LIVE a lot in the final match-ups.

They edited the TV show with a LOT of focus on Demarques Johnson....barely any coverage of Wilks. The odds were a bit whacked there.

Way to hit 'em!
