I have a lots to say but I'm drunk and my lovely wife calls.

3-0 +3.85 unts tonight

2009 record 22-11 +34.17 units

Anderson, oh I maybe drunk but his quickness and more importantly his precision is awesome to watch. He's truely a fighter at the peak of his game.

Until tomorrow this is a drunk Woodie! :mj07:

Great turnaround bro !
It took balls to throw down on BJ at that price
but you were on the money - a wipeout COMPLETELY
:toast:

I hope they send Leites his pinkslip tonight - I NEVER want to see that fuker again EVER

:mj07:
If you read my original post on this thread,it was about how I WOULD NOT BET on this event as there was nothing I loved. I was just going to wait for WEC as I love 3 bets there. Being a degenerate almost cost me HUGE tonight:s2:

i'm looking ahead and thinking my next big bets will be couture over nogueira and maynard over huerta. quite a bit of chalk, but i don't see these fights having the features of an upset.

KenFlo(+210) for 100 wins 210
Ricardo Almeida(-165) for 165 wins 100.
Also playing this:
Ricardo Almeida(+265) to win by decision for 100 wins 265.

Forrest Griffin(+300) for 100 wins 300. -- Just an odds play.

+165 for me all thanks to Almeida.

BIG MMA FAN......READ YOUR THREADS HERE AALL THE TIME......JUST WONDERING WHAT YOU GUYS THOUGHT ABOUT FORREST/ANDERSON FIGHT? I MEAN THAT HAD TO BE THE WEAKEST KNOCKOUT PUNCH IN HISTORY OF THE SPORT. A FALLING AWAY HALF A JAB BY SILVA PUTS FORREST DOWN?

BEFORE THIS FIGHT FORREST WAS WELL KNOWN FOR HAVING BIGGEST HEART IN THE SPORT AND A GREAT CHIN?

WAS THIS FIGHT FIXED?

DID FORREST JUST REALIZE IN 1ST MIN. OF FIGHT THAT HE COULDNT WIN AND JUST GAVE UP WITHOUT TAKING ANY REAL PUNISHMENT?

WHY DID HE RUN FROM THE RING...TO EMBARRASSED TO STICK AROUND?

HAS DANA MADE ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THIS YET?

IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT THIS FIGHT WAS VERY VERY STRANGE?

THANKS...I ENJOY READING WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE TO SAY HERE....LOTSA KNOWLEDGE AND SOME GREAT PICKS.....THANKS.

I'm by no means any sort of MMA expert, but it looked to me like you mentioned, he just lost his heart. He was getting outclassed and clowned, and was knocked down several times. Silva even helped him up off the mat at one point. I think he realized he was outclassed for the night and didn't want to look any more foolish than he already had. Let's get this over with. kurby

I have heard same thing about his jaw being screwed up but this is what Dana had to say:

?He might be in Georgia by now, he ran out and I haven?t seen him since,? White, the UFC president, joked.

If he had a jaw injury then there is no way they let him leave the building without being checked out by a doctor and Dana would have mentioned it.

Anderson is the best fighter in the world. He just walked thru a big 205er, give me a break if you think GSP would challenge him.

He also walked thru one of the dumber and none defensive fighters in UFC.
GSP is the complete opposite of that so comparing Griffin to GSP is not even worth talking about.

Not sure GSP would be able to beat him,but he would give him one hell of a fight unlike Forrest.

Well hes crushed Franklin twice, pretty much destroyed Hendo (except when Hendo just layed on him and covered his mouth).. im pretty sure he would abuse GSP.

Last night was the Anderson Silva people like to see and not the one against Cote or Leites.
Unlike Griffin and Franklin, GSP would close the distance on silva and try to get the fight to the ground.
If they are going to stand toe to toe and fight then clearly Silva would abuse him but GSP would never let that happen.

Except Silva is as big or bigger than GSP, and won't let himself be taken down.

Well, I've recovered from my sat night fun.

Anderson needs to vacate the MW belt and move up. There's nothing more for him at MW and he's proved he can fight with the LHWs. I don't think he can beat them all but I think he can beat most of them. I don't know who could beat him but I'm sure he would have problems with someone that is willing to go after him and put him on his back.

Kick, if they want to move GSP up to fight I think they should but like I've always said they need to test him with someone else besides Anderson first. I would love to see him vs Hendo, we would truely see GSPs wrestling ability there. What about Nate, Rich, or someone a little lower in the pecking order?

Hendricks-I thought the stoppage was bs even though I was on Hendricks but I sure like what I see in him. We know his wrestling is VERY good but for someone so green he looks like he may have some heavy hands which is something you either have or don't have. I think his future is BRIGHT.
