Loved Colture in this one but who knows how healthy he is? Wasn't it he who was gonna back out? Kang /Bisping I could never take Bisping in this one after that knockout Hendo gave him but Kang just doesn't seem like that bright of a fighter. Should be a bore fest. Hardy and Swick could be a fun one. I could see Hardy frustrating Swick and getting him late or Swick just destroying him. One i might go with is Matt Brown. I thought he looked terrific his last fight.

odds = $2.66 (+166) *1.5 Joe Rogans

I think Swick will be too much for Hardy, although I am not sure Swick wants to win, because he has no chance to beat GSP, none. Nothing against Swick, only guy that has a shot isn't even in UFC (Marius "The Whitemare" Zaromskis) so guess Swick is better then anyone else:shrug:

I agree with Sponge, Brown has been impressive. But James "Lightning" Wilks didn't exactly look terrible in his last fight either.

Swick is coming off a concussion. He might become defensive. This is not a sport where i want to be coming off of a concussion.

i took a shot with bisping over the kanuck/chinese/hawaiian......too many nationalities involved for this guy to be consistent...

seriously,i know it won`t be a popular play....i know kang is good..but he`s not consistent(vs top competition)...and i saw some cardio issues vs belcher...

lots of wins....but for a high profile guy that fights in or around the same weight as guys like arona, hendo, shogun rua, sonnen, prangley, okami.anderson silva etc,he`s met few of them(yeah,he`s basically a 185`er...but,many of the top guys go up and down in weight)i think bisping is the naturally bigger man here...he can fight at 205,not sure that kang can...kang`s best wins vs eastman, ninja rua,suloev,gono...decent,but not mind bending wins.....

he lost to belcher, misaki, moussasi, mayhem, joe doerksen......some guys i never heard of early in his career(throw them out)

honestly,no "elite" wins that i can see for a guy that`s been around the block and then some.....

i`m not overreacting to a k.o. loss to one of the premier(and heaviest punching) guys to ever step into a cage... bisping had trouble with powerful wrestler/strikers like hendo(ex 205 pounder) and matt hammill(another ex 205 pounder)....he hung in with rashad evans at 205...although kang is experienced and well rounded,he`s not a huge guy at the weight and if anybody does the bullying,i think it might be bisping...i don`t expect him to run like he did from henderson...i think he`s aggressive here..kang`s lost to lesser guys than bisping...

this is in britain...bisping loses here and he`s lost all credibility as a contender...i think he shows up...i grabbed it immediately at +130....anything close and i expect bisping to get the nod(that`s a real part of my analysis....dana wants to keep the brits interested)....

i am a tad worried about the quality of his his sparring partners in britain,though...

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uyBdC-SFYW4&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uyBdC-SFYW4&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

and i see a few undercard fights that i like....hope the odds are favorable for some dogs..

i know i`ll probably be the only one on bisping...and that`s fine with me..

Ohio but not a Buckeye
If Vera wins, I say pit him against Rashad(if he beats Thiago) for #1 conteder slot(obviously AFTER Machida/Shogun 2).

Vera is getting better and better, and people are sleeping on him.

Don't belive the hype, just believe what you see.

I have not bet big for 5 weeks but I will be for this one.

Vera to beat Couture at +110. I think Randy is finally showing his age and his punch resistance is starting to go.
I think cutting weight to 205 at 46 years old is not going to do him any favours.
I think Vera will shine in this fight.
I love it!!!!

Kang to beat Bisping at -110. I hate that the fight is in England and Kang sometimes snatches defeat from the jaws of victory but I believe Kang is better in all areas and Bisping is coming back from a brutal KO.
I think a lot of his cocky, winning attitude was down to thinking that he is a hard man who can't be hurt. Well, that thought must be out the window now.

Swick to beat Hardy at -200. Swick is better in all areas and will crush Hardy.

Good luck :toast: :toast: :toast:

Just watched the weighins, by the way you can watch on ufc.com, I know Vera is a beter striker than Couture, but dont you think he looked sickly skinny? He might just not be able to cut that much weight. I also think Randy's style is a good matchup. If Vera throws kicks as he likes to do, Randy should be able to out muscle him and get the take downs. I think the odds are right where they should be. Couture by decision!

Good luck this weekend gents
