i really hate seeing guys get caught cold and the fight being over before it gets started...i`m not saying that sanchez had a prayer...he didn`t...his stand-uop is kindergarten level...

this fight was over after the first right hand and the ensuing 60 second beatdown....it was over...just like the kongo fight...

a similar thing happened when penn broke st pierre`s nose early in their 1st fight...

st pierre was badly hurt..but he was just so good...in such great shape...he`s that much better an athlete than penn that he gutted his way through and toughed out a win...

the second fight proved that he`s bigger and much better than penn...he pushed penn and penn wilted...

st pierre`s 2nd win over penn was as dominating as penn`s win over sanchez...

penn`s great...but he`s not as good as gsp...

sorry joe rogan...

Agreed GW....was just going to say that......shows you just how good GSP is.....he toyed with Penn.....absolutely toyed with him.

And as much as I hate Penn........if he ever fought Aoki I'd be rooting for BJ. But that fight will never happen because Aoki would start crying before he even got into the octagon:142smilie

it's crazy how long bj has been at the top, considering how new mma is and how it's had such a high turnover rate.

and he hasn't taken much damage in his career, he can continue for long time yet.

Mission accomplished

Shitfaced and Mir and KenFlo won

caught the last round of Penn v Dirty Sanchez

Gonna catch the rest on replay but congrats K-Swerve on Mir and Florian

PS No Lebats or Molsens but they had something called Jack Daniels that went down just as smooth

Thanks Josh.......

smooth, smooth anus for kickserv:142smilie

Agreed muhr......BJ one of those guys who has not taken much damage in his long career. Although if he went to the 5th round against GSP, GSP might have killed him (his brother saved him from that).

watching mma,it`s almost amazing how far the sport has come in such a short period of time.....

it`s actually hard to believe that a relatively one dimensional fighter like matt hughes was considered one of (if not thee) pfp best fighter just a few short years ago....

scary...

I'm watching in the morning

Gonna go snuggle into bed and see if the wife will take one for the team

Listening at the end it sounds like you had both fights called to a T and both Mir and Florian dominated.

Party up and will catch yall tomorrow

if you put it in perspective, it's legit though. at that time, for who was fighting around the world and at that class...who was better?

plus, it's easier to hang around at an elite level if you're a legit striker than it is if you're just a wrestler...

in roughly 3.5 years, being just a great wrestler ain`t gonna get it...

hughes,sherk etc...they`re has-beens....

velasquez ia going nowhere if he doesn`t diversify....

mir(who is a smug prick),upped his game with his improved striking acumen...

that`s why machida struggled with rua.....and will struggle again.....no matter how good you are at one thing, people get hip to it and you need a fall back....

i think this sport really has become "mma"....

I actually believe Diego at +265 has a very good chance.

He has stamina for day's and will force BJ to work.

I have never seen him hurt.

He is the only guy at 155 that I think is capable of surviving on the ground with BJ.
His ADCC match with a prime Marcelo Garcia was a real eye opener for me. He gave Marcelo a really good go for 10 minutes.
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

I have NOW seen him hurt and it's not a pretty sight :scared :142smilie

I didn't think Diego would bring the new tactic of trying to tire BJ out by repeatedly smashing his face into BJ's fists!!!

At least he did survive on the ground with BJ :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
The only way this fight was going to the ground was if BJ slipped on the puddles of blood.
