i think Mir is getting a little to cocky about his alleged great standup. Still most likely will go with him cause i see him submitting Carwin. I hate to be the one to say this but i think GSP is gonna absolutely destroy Hardy. Hardy will get taken down over and over again like a tackling dummy. Hardy does throw knees tho.

Also like Fitch in a tight one. Palahres got to look into his opponent. Wonder when the UFC starts moving this guy up the ladder? He beat everyone and almost beat Hendo

Ok I need help guys. Fitch is +140 now, I would like him if it was a pickem let alone an extra 40. What am I missing with this fight. I went back and watched the last one and at no point was Alves in the fight. He was on his back constantly and then one time he wasn't he got the snot kicked out of him. Really wanting to put a big play on this but the line is moving Alves way and that's making me hold back because I feel like I'm missing something.

MMA Record (since UFC 58)
---------------------------------------------

Parlays 89-124

+24.49 Joe Rogans

Jon Fitch beat Thiago Alves $2.40 (+140) *2.5 Joe Rogans

Fitch odds are way outta wack, odds are a gift:scared Fitch beats everybody except GSP. And yep, Fitch will win again.

If Fitch had a glass jaw no way i would take him. Fitch can take a shot so im with ya with Fitch. Pallares is kinda the same type of fighter as Fitch. He is very one dimensional but can take a big shot. These guys in my opinion are the most dangerous guys to go against cause they are always in the fight.

Sponge, what weight is the Palahres vs Drwal going to be at? I'm guessing 185? I wonder how much of a cut this will be for Drwal. He's pretty tough guy and didn't look bad at 205, if the cut isn't too much he could be a pretty good 185er.

i would think 185 since this is where Palahres fights but not sure just yet.

Record since the start of 2009 29-18 +30.14 units

I'll be on Fitch but I'm going to hold off because I can't decide how big. I was going with 5 units but something doesn't seem right, it seems too easy.

Almeida -150 2units

I'm guessing this fight will be at 185 because I don't think there is any way in hell Almeida could cut to 170. I like Brown a lot but stepping up in weight vs a guy Almeida's size is asking a lot. Hopefully it goes to the ground early so Almeida can sub him.

Fitch will be somewhere between 3-5 units. I guess I need to suck it up and make a play. I really haven't had any plays worth noting since the great Shogun robbery of 09.

i think alves wins the rematch.

fitch is durable and unrelenting, however, if koscheck couldn't take alves down and gsp couldn't hold alves down than i don't think fitch will be able to do either.

fitch will probably try and clinch alves against the fence and smother him to victory, but i don't see it happening.

Sponge, Drwal is a tough sob. I think he's looked good in every fight except for the fight vs Thiago Silva and that was his first fight in the UFC. I don't know if he gassed because he doesn't have good cardio or because of the adrenaline dump. He fought here in Dallas at 185 in his last fight and I thought looked about as good as he could for his first time cutting. The only problem I have with him in this fight is we don't know what his sub defense is like. He does have a very good sprawl though but Palarhes is so strong and low to the ground I don't know. IMO with the odds where they are the bet is Drwal or nothing. He has some power in his punches and can take a punch as well. I think he's going to really test Palarhes chin.

He's already done it once, why couldn't he do it again? I wonder if Alves wrestling has improved that much since their last fight because in that one Alves was Fitch's little rag doll.

I like muhr...and muhr is a smart cookie....but my boy muhr is a little off here. Fitch toyed with Alves last time, and yes that was a long time ago. But both fighters are better. As I said earlier, Fitch beats everybody except GSP. And let us not forget Fitch is one tough motherfucker. The guy got destroyed against GSP, but hung in there. Fitch has heart, is super tough and toyed with Alves last time out. I mean how can ya not take Fitch at +140:shrug:

And let us not forget about Alves and his weight cutting:SIB

Oh and ummm.......for those that don't know.....GSP will absolutely destroy Hardy. Not sure if anyone knew that, just letting ya all know:)
