how the fuck did lesnar survive that, good job by the ref thats for sure. if anyone lets lesnar on top of you, it's gonna be a short night :0002 :0002
I don't think he was gassed at all, it's just that Lesnar got on top of him. I think Lesnar actually weighs 350 and they lie about him being 265. :SIB
Carwin destroys Lesnar in 1st round and then gasses....
Cain and Dos Santos beat Brock.......easily.
Load up on Cain.........he won't gas.
Props to Brock for lasting, and good job by Ref for not stopping the fight.

Again, how was he gassed? Because he got taken down, or because he couldn't get up? Lesnar has good takedown skills even when a guy isn't gassed, and I don't blame Carwin for tapping considering Lesnar was going to snap his head off if he didn't.
Trust me though, I'm as bummed as you are that Carwin didn't win. I'm amazed he ended up losing that fight. He had to keep it standing, but he couldn't do it. :sadwave:
gotta give Lesnar credit...he answered questions about his chin....thought he was done 1st round....great win and fight!!!
He took huge shots and didn't even look remotely close to going out. I was amazed at one of the last elbows he took to the chin.
It's pretty obvious where his strength is. But if he can atleast work on his standup defense to a degree where he's hard to hit, then he's almost unbeatable.
guy didn`t realize that SOMEBODY was gettin` past the 1st round at some point....you could see once the 2nd started,he was through....i think not getting lesnar out broke him(and the cardio)....

Lesnar won, I get that part. I don't get all the credit he's getting. He got the shit beat out of him in the first. He was turtling like a beaten man and is LUCKY as all hell the ref did not stop it. He was not defending himself, he was covering up. Everyone I watched it with was saying, "they're gonna stop it". Kudos to the ref for not stopping it but a stoppage was more than justified and Brock would not have complained.
Don't think Cain is big enough to stay with Lesnar, let's see how JDS does vs Big Country first :0002 :0002
I think if that wasn't a championship fight it would have been stopped. He was getting the shit beaten out of him. There were numerous times where he was covering up but not actually trying to fight back, which is usually when they stop it. But again, since it was a championship fight the ref did the right thing by letting Brock try to weather the storm, which he did.
I don't think Brock did anything real great, other than surviving that flurry by Carwin. That was impressive, and it's something the other guys couldn't do.
