Why do i see the same thing Rashad did to Rampage as the same thing Machida will do? Just avoid Rampage and make him look silly. Then Rampage will basically have all his energy left after the fight and wonder why he lost. Then maybe someone will have the balls to tell him that Shogun went right after Machida and gave everyone the blueprint on how to hopefully beat him. Rampage will fight more of a Tito type of fight and wonder why he lost 30-27 on all three cards. Ar
Are there really people out there that are jonesin for the Penn Hughes rematch? I'll take Penn in that one. Gerald Harris will be the star of this card and the next big thing.

I'm looking foward to the Penn Hughes fight but only because I'm going LARGE on it. LOL

I wish we knew how Page was going to fight. If he's balls to the wall then I think he's a live dog bet but if he sits back then he'll be picked apart.

"the bunker"
machida wins by decsion...+159...i see this as a distance fight...particularly after machida got whacked by rua....

he`ll be careful...keep jackson outside with lots of kicks to the legs....lots of movement....

rampage gets stopped by knees or soccer kicks in rough house brawls... (ala rua and wandy)...not punches in the kind of strategic fight i expect machida to use......

I'm ready to see what Karo looks like in weigh ins. If he looks good I'm going to make a pretty big play on him. If he's "there" this should be an easy fight for him.

It was interesting to see the line opened -245 for Karo and money has poured in on Hallman - I agree with you layin and am very tempted

but where is this guy's head at?

That's the big unkown isn't it Ghost. I know it doesn't mean everything but I'm gong to go by how his body looks. If he looks in good shape and isn't carrying around a lot of fat then I think that will tell a lot. I might lose by doing that but if Karo has his head on straight and has been training then this shouldn't even be close.

what if machida fights so negatively due to his first loss/first time ko victim

he just keeps backing up and rampage wins by just marching forward and looking mean :mj07:

He will land enuf kicks to get the win. This to me is a terrible matchup for Rampage. It is Tito Machida all over again but at least Rampage has some power although he prolly won't put a nick on Machida.

Sponge, in no way is this Tito vs Machida all over again. Tito has no standup at all. Machida will actually have to watch for Page's power.

IMO we may see the same kind of plan from Rampage that we saw vs Chuck in their fight in Pride. Page took Chuck down and pounded on him. I think that's Rampage best strategy and he has the power to do it.

IMO the big question for Machida is what did the brutal ko vs Shogun do to his mental game.

I really think this might be a great fight. Page can't afford to sit back and just look for big shots. With this fight only being 3 rounds he really has to do some work and do work early. If Page gets his hands on Machida then I think it will be very interesting to see if he can get him down.

Lay i agree with ya but does Page know this? I haven't seen Page take a guy down since he has been in the UFC. With the knockout of Machida i see an even a more reluctant Machida willing to exchange. Machida is no dummy and will avoid Page at any cost and i think Page will just complain that Machida won't fight. Even tho Machida landed a few kicks and took Rampage down a few times. I think Machida has some of the trickiest takedowns in the UFC. diff not gonna bet this fight. My heart say's Rampage but my head say's Machida. Rampage needs those judges from UFC 122. Im not sure those guys counted takedowns.
