HELL
Well if the doctor didn't want to stop it, his corner should have. No way I would let my fighter take something like, whether he hated me or not afterwards. Its one thing if he was somewhat competitive and still had a shot, but this again was a whitewash, no need to hurt him for future bouts or potentially put him or his health at risk even further. The fight was clearly over after the third, better yet the fight was over when he went to the corner and his eye was closed after the first round. We have seen eyes close like this after a viscious shot (vera) or prolonged beating (margarito in boxing) and they were broken orbital bones, so the doctor had to know especially when he refused to be touched there or have ice put on it in between one round. I realize this is Dana's and the UFC's way, but man live to fight another day. Kos is a good fighter, just outclassed by someone superior and someone who is untouchable, um Tom Brady.

The fight was over when Kos never grew from a swinging bombs idiot. How some of these guys just can't straighten out their punches is stunning to me. Swick is the perfect example. All that speed and when he gets in a brawl he starts looping punches. GSP and Roach saw that, hell i even saw it and i am not a trainer. GSP works at his trade and forms gameplans. Kos is just a meat head who thinks bullying will win him fights. I mean jesus who is the boxing coach at AKA? Isn't both Swick and Kos from that gym? Starting to make me like Santos even more since Cain is from that same gym i believe. The difference again is GSP finds Raoach and works on his weakness. Now Kos stays the same and thinks he will follow behind Serra's lucky punch and do the same thing. GSP's hands always in my mind, have been underrated but he still went with what works in all of his fights instead of standing. He knew he could stand this fight so he did because he knew the advantages were not even close standing.
Those other fights he might have won with his hands but why risk it. On another note UFC should have a fighter of a night bonus. Alves in my miond looked absolutely terrific against another looping bomb thrower. Two different techniques but the same result. The straighter puncher wins 9 out of ten times.
