YTD MMA record: 0-4 -6.00 units....
Favs: 0-0
dogs: 0-1 -3.00 units
parlays: 0-3 -3.00 units

Can I break my maiden for 2011 tonight? Don't count on it....:mj07:

Not going to be around for the main card........ looking at a few plays/parlays but posting this one now as it goes off in about an hour. Fade away and profit from my incompetence. :142smilie

Kyle Kingsbury +100 for 3 units

Nice way to start the night. Putting one of these units on Kid to win his UFC debut....

Norifumi Yamamoto -115 1 unit to win .87 units

I don't have time to go back and find my record but here's what I have.

Franklin -140 2units
Kid -120 1unit

I also took Belfort for 1unit but it was earlier and my line was a lot better so I won't post it with my record. I thought about trying a middle here but I don't feel like rooting for Silva. With the line where it is now I really think I would either be on Silva or nothing. He's the best striker hands down in MMA IMO and I can't seem to remember him even being hit by someone let alone hit by someone and hurt. I think his length could be the difference but Vitor's hands are so damn fast it might not matter. Again, I'm on Belfort but I wouldn't be at the current price.

I like Franklin a lot and it was a normal card I would be on him heavier but I really want to just sit back and enjoy these fights and if I have a lot down I won't do that. Forrest has to get this to the ground to win because he's not beating Rich standing and IMO has a good chance of being KTFO if he does. Although Rich is not as tall I think he will have the mass it takes to shed Forrest off.

Kid-Well damnitt at some point one of these guys is going to look good so why not. :toast:

He looked pretty dam good against Franklin who he just destroyed. Some fighters do improve every now and then.

How do u feel about silva -210?

i`m not laying it....i parred him with nick diaz in several pars as the idea grew on me....of course,i was laying -260 on silva in my par...this number`s dropped like a rock...i`m scratching my head about that...guessing that it`s the belfort mystique...he`s legendary in brazil...when in truth,it`s silva who should be the legend..

even though i don`t think belfort is a "great" fighter....he is maybe thee most dangerous 1-2 round fighters ever...he has real, sudden power...and he`s the naturally bigger, stronger guy here...

but he can fade...he can get discouraged...and he`s really extremely one-dimensional...

really liked diaz itd last week....laid the -190 there...probably won`t happen again for a while...

imo,he`s the same guy he always was...you f-ck around with him in the 1st round, and he just might take your head off....

surprised that a smart guy like franklin didn`t fight more cauthiously early...

13 ko/tko`s....11 in the 1st...2 in the second...

Here's the record

46-30-1 +46.89 units

Opinions 17-17 +3.25 units(always .5 unit bets)

I feel like I've been spinning my wheels lately. I haven't had time to cap all of the fights. I have some very big plays this spring so I'm looking foward to all of these events.

Training at Randy's has to have toughen him up. U don't think Randy is in his head and showed him what guys like him have done in the past, to take avantage of him? I just wish i saw a comment from Randy about this fight. If Randy said Vitor was in a great place mentally i would take him. The bottom line is Silva is living off of a bunch of joke fighters with no hands at all. Only one who had any hands at all was Nate and Nate looked scared. I saw a shitty hand Sonnen touch Silva's chin a couple of times but that could be because Silva was afraid of the takedown. Belfort touches his chin Silva is getting knocked out. This is the fight i have wanted to see forever and now i get to see Silva against a guy with some hands. Belfort has to try to take him down at least once to put that in Silva's head. I have to believe Randy has told him that. Randy in my opinion is like Roach in boxing. U want him in ur corner.

KYLE KINGSBURY VS. RICARDO ROMERO

Round 1 - Referee Steve Mazzagatti in charge of this light heavyweight affair. Chants of "Kingsbu" come from a corner of the building. Kingsbury shifts side to side on the outside. Romero pushes forward early behind a big overhand, but Kingsbury clinches up and starts firing knees to the body and arms. Romero pulls away, but Kingsbury blasts him with a left straight. Romero hits the deck. Kingsbury still pounding away, as Romero turtles, and Mazzagatti jumps in to call the fight. Kyle Kingsbury def. Ricardo Romero via TKO (punches) - Round 1, 0:21.

can`t argue about silva`s recent efforts.....they`ve been sketchy,at best.....

well, now he has the perfect opponent in front of him...a one-dimensional "pure-striker"(waist high and right over the plate for thongee:grins: )coming off an 18 month layoff who doesn`t have his length or his complete repertoire.....

based on what dana`s been saying,it`s put up time for silva...
