You imagine Lesnar fighting Dos Santos......he would have ran like a bitch in the 1st 30 seconds......he would have tapped mighty quick:mj07:

it would have been bad, but not as bad as having 12 inches of colon removed :scared

If you didn't see the fight, this will put it into context a bit. FightMetric had JDS outlanding Carwin 104-22.

per mmajunkie

i thought this was the easiest pick tonight. better hands all the way around. Just had to worry about that one big punch.

HELL
Total dominance by JDS. Thankfully UFC bought strikeforce as their isnt anybody left in UFC after Cain/JDS. Carwin is done, if he was like 32 maybe he keeps trying to get better, but at 36 where is he going, he might have a few more fights but nothing of substance IMO. Lesnar is most likely done after having a foot of his intestine removed. That leaves Mir. Time to bring on AO and Bigfoot and a few others. Need to see something fresh or new. Looking forward to Cain and JDS....

this is why a heavyweight has to be very careful with their contracts. i remember Carwin bitching about the peanuts he got for the lesnar fight. i wonder what he got paid tonight? Like u say at 36 he doesn't have much more left to offer. Hopefully Dana does him right and reworks his contract. he might have two years left but not much more.

JDS way to quick tonight. Excellent jab and overhand right... effective with maintaining distance.. smart fighter...
JDS willing to stand in pocket and throw but this is where I get concerned when watching him. He has a bad habit of dipping his chin when he throws power shots with his left which leaves him open to knees and uppercuts...Carwin to slow to exploit tonight but it is a huge hole.

:mj07:

WTF? I'll take it, but 30-27? thats a fucking joke. I must have a horseshoe up my ass tonight because I've been on the right side of both of those two shitty decisions...
Well done Bro!! :toast:

As per fucking normal, I was on the shitty end of both decisions.

I am giving up UFC and sticking with boxing.

I am betting 4 times the amount I lost tonight on Wlad beating the piss out of Haye!!! :scared

If he does it within 6 rounds, it will be gravy.

Well done to all those who can actually pick an MMA winner. :0008 :0008 :0008

Updated record 46-35-2 +33.89 units

opinions 17-17+3.25 (always .5 unit plays)

This will be my first posted play since my Shogun destruction. Feeling gun shy but I'm up 8 units in the NBA finals so not much to worry about.

JDS -165 3units
Maia -110 1unit

Big play on JDS for this but I'm feeling pretty confident. I know Carwin has lost a lot of weight but I don't think that's going to change his cardio much. We know JDS can go the 3 rounds with no problem. I would feel a lot better if this was 5 but I'll take it. I think at some point JDS catches Carwin with a big punch and takes him out. I really want to see Carwin take him down so we can see Junior's ground game.

Finally getting a positive night after some big losses.

Cain vs JDS will be a WAR. Cain is heads and shoulders better than Carwin in all aspects. The main one being he's a lot faster with his hands and feet.

Dana :mj07:
"We're going to pay [Omigawa] his win money," White said. "I don't care what the judge says, he won the fight. ? I say he won. Overruled."
