listen to this guys. got an awful feed but here goes. Staying with my bud and his boy in wildwood NJ. He had a grappling/jujitz tourney today. He is the boy who beat UFC fighter nick Pace(on the ufc card tonight) a couple of months ago.
got to work with his dad in the corner. He beat the first guy via choke in about three min. Second guy a heel hoo in about 45 sec. Then in finals beat a ju jitz black belt 11-0 i think. Awesome experience. Saw bucks saying something about Sonnen weighin at 217 in Qand A. i watched buddys kid cuting weight for two days and i brought all this food down and felt guilty as hell for two days while this kid sat there very discipline not eating anything. So friday is weighin and he makes weight. We eat dinner and he puts on 11 pounds in the first 30 minutes. im telling u guys at 20 this kid is the real deal. What a nice kid. I actually gave him some advice that paid off in the third fight. What a experience. I carried the belt out. lol. Was real interested in watching Pace tonight to judge were my buddy's boy is. He is ufc ready right now but they are gonna pace the kid.

UFC President Dana White announced at the post-fight press conference that Brian Ebersole was awarded $70,000 as "thanks for getting (Dennis Hallman's) horrifying shorts off TV."

Machida wouldn't have made nearly what Tito did, so he was trying to get paid for taking the risk. Very smart move since he had little to gain and a lot to lose fighting someone he'd already beaten on short notice.

Pretty cool. That's got to be nice to get an inside perspective to this sport. As much as we love to watch it, I don't think many of us can really grasp what it really takes to make it in this sport....except Kyle, he knows everything.

What does everyone think about Rashad? Would you credit him simply just evolving, or would you state that switching training camps has helped? He looked a lot better, and I think he looked the best he has ever looked. For as much time as he missed, I saw ZERO ring rust. Props to Rashad.

Wow, I thought Rashad looked GREAT. I've never thought he was a top tier guy. I thought most of his big fights he was losing but then would pull out a one punch KO but in this fight he looked very complete. For a change instead of just dancing around acting like he was shadow boxing he actually was aggressive. IMO he set himself up for a big fight with Bones that should have all the hype in the world.(I'm assuming Bones gets through Page)

Picked up 4 units on Hendricks. I really like the way he's evolving as a fighter.

Rory is the real deal. It seems like the difference between the top guys that are good strikers is their ability to put their punches on the money. Anderson does it and it looks like Rory has that same ability. Kind of like a pitcher in baseball that has awesome location on the pitches. Some look good and throw hard but can't hit the corners of the strike zone.

Agree with Rory comments. I noticed that when watching him throw his jabs. It seemed like they were technical and they all landed with purpose.

Evans, Ortiz and Belfort collect $70K bonuses

http://mmajunkie.com/news/24714/ufc-133-bonuses.mma

Rory MacDonald, Alexander Gustafsson, or Brian Ebersole deserved the KO bonus over Vitor.

I respectfully disagree, while none of them were really spectacular, Sexyama was the only one who actually got ktfo

Pretty crappy wagering card for me. Went 0-7 for the first time ever (being doing this since online gambling started)

I think I made some plays I would not normally have done. I put this down to in the past viewing gambling as way to boast my income to now becoming a view of "well this online shit is ending soon might as well as take a few chances" It's been a good run and I have a nice profit to show for it

On to the fights. Thought Evans looked great. I liked the aggressiveness and we have a big fight with Jones or a rematch with Jackson to come.

Belfort has power but got to stop those strikes to the back of the head. Akiyama is going to 170 or is going to get cut

I think age played a big part in the fights tonight

Ortiz (36), Akiyama (36), Hallman (35), Rivera (39) and Pyle (35) all lost on the Main Card

I also think strategies didn't help Ortiz, Akiyama, Pyle. They didnt exactly fight smart fights. I thought Tito needed to get this to the ground and grind and wear out Rashad. Akiyama was a no brainer. This fight was taylor made for him to just get KO'd. Pyle was clearly outclassed on the feet, and a little success on the ground but didn't maintain it and lost where he was outclassed.

well done,partner....agree with the rashad comment...he realized he was way too quick for ortiz and didn`t f` around after the feeling out process...the bader win was an anomaly...like a lightning strike.......

.seems that hendricks has that kind of lefty stance that you see every so often in boxing.....it`s not praticed or planned...it just is......it`s a physiological thing where just the way he stands and moves makes if extremely hard for righties to close distance and score... most of pierce`s scoring was done when they were breaking from the clinch...from the outside,he did very little...

i think the reason why hendricks isn`t a super dominant mma grappler might be his strength...he`s not a super powerful guy...but,neither are guys like ben askren and jacob volkmann,so go figure......his dominant collegiate grappling just isn`t as dominant in mma as some others...

but he`s slick on his feet...and in the clinch....

enjoyed what appeared to be a shitty card more than i expected....might have something to do with having a new computer and not having to reboot every 15 minutes...

love the versus main card sunday....

congrats to the winners...
