The two guys that have cost me more than all of the other fighters combined, Evans and Edgar. Evans line is too high but may parlay him with Reem.

The Aldo Edgar fight is one I can't seem to pull the trigger on but I'm leaning toward Edgar. Aldo doesn't seem like the same fighter anymore. I really think Edgar can take anything Aldo has and really feel like if he can steal one of the first three rounds then he'll win. I think by the 4th Edgar will be able to take Aldo down to the ground. I do worry his thigh will be torn up by then but it's Edgar so I have faith even if it is he'll fight thru it.

The Maia Fitch fight is also very interesting. If you're Fitch do you really want to take him down? But if it stays standing then who's better? They're both very poor with their hands. I'm leaning towards Fitch but avoiding the sub for 3 rounds scares me.

I'm on the fence for the Aldo/Edgar fight. How much will Gray Maynard training with Aldo have an effect on the fight? A couple things layinwood mentioned I have to agree will be huge factors in the outcome. Will Aldo batter the legs or will Edgar be able to check a lot of them? Aldo made minced meat out of Fabers lead leg when they fought, but he didn't attempt to check any of the kicks. If I remember correctly, Frankie caught a number of Henderson's kicks.

If the fight gets into the championship rounds will Aldo have the cardio to survive? Edgar has outstanding cardio and somehow has been able to survive getting rocked multiple times in fights. I think Aldo will fade in the 4th and 5th if it gets there.

Created my own thread, but apparently that's frowned upon here, so I'll conform and post in the community UFC thread.

My biggest bet on UFC in a while. I think this line is too low, showing about a 69% chance Aldo wins. I think it should be closer to -400, or 80%.

JOSE ALDO -230 11.5x to win 5x

I also have a little action tied up in a cross-fight parlay with boxing:

Aldo -230
Evans -500
Sturm -780

2.12x to win 2x

GLTA and enjoy the fights this weekend! Looks like a good card they put together for Super Bowl weekend.

Fitch really only has one way of fighting and that is just to go at the the other guy full steam ahead. He changed it up a bit against Silva by looking for the finish more. I think he can survive with Maia on the ground and will probably be the stronger fighter in the 3rd round. Maia on the other hand I think has the option of kickboxing. While not excellent on the feet he does have a nice left kick and while his punching can be sloppy at times he will throw punches while coming forward which forces his opponent to react. You see this in a lot of Maia's fights when he is striking - he rarely backs up. He knows his opponent probably does not want to take him down so he just has to lookout for the counter strike. I think Fitch will will react by grappling as that is his bread and butter.

Awesome fight:0074

Dustin Kimura weighed in at 139.5 pounds.

Kimura missed weight and will forfeit 20 percent of his purse to Camus.
