He fights anybody in the Top 4 he will lose, if he fights winner of Aldo/Mendes he will get torched.
He's not close to the top....look at who he's fought......
He will lose his next fight.
Hell.....I'm not sure he'd beat Bermudez.
Demetrious Johnson is what happens when there are 1 or 2 too many divisions in the ufc...you get a division like this one where the best option is a +1100 underdog..
give cruz another fight or two and make Johnson fight him...

Really glad I didn't bet this card. Lots of good fights from top to bottom. Nice to see Cruz dominate and Zingano come out with the win.
that flyweight division is probably the worst.....john moraga,ali bagofsomething and chris cariaso?....
the guy already has losses to brad pickett and cruz...he stumbled into a division with one guy who has even a remote chance to beat him(Dodson,and HE already has 6 losses)...
guys like jones/Weidman are fighting beasts like gustafsson, cormier and Anderson silva/Machida...you shouldn`t be pfp for beating guys who would be better suited climbing to the top of a wedding cake......
if he`s #1 pfp as rogan claims, move up to 135 and clean out that division....
we won`t hold our breath....

It's not his fault he's small....Flyweight is his weight class....he shouldn't be punished for that:shrug:
Took a couple of friends out, neither have really ever watched a UFC event. The girl fight got them hooked. They thought it was awesome.
I disagree that Connor will lose vs. the top guys. His left is cat quick and on the money more than not. I'm not saying he's Anderson so don't say that I am but he's my example here. Some guys throw punches and it looks good. Then you have some guys like Anderson who throw it and it's so precise it doesn't take as much. To me Connor looks like that. If he throws it, it's landing and seems to do more damage than it looks like it would.
No matter if he's that good or not, the UFC needs more guys like him. IMO they're lacking the Chucks, Rampages and guys that people are drawn to and that also deliver in the cage.

he looks good....I think Poirier appeared beaten before he entered the cage...he fought uncharacteristically tentative....but,that`s a big part of McGregor`s arsenal...he`s capable of psyching guys out before they get into the cage...
I need to see him vs a top grappler...two guys have beaten him so,i`m not going to crown him just yet...
kick,as far as dem. Johnson goes,he`s far and away the class of a very weak division...no denying that...what I took issue with is the pfp stuff rogan is selling...
to be pfp great,i think you have to beat other top tier guys...to be #1 pfp,you have to have a seriously amazing resume and have beaten other champs and top tier guys....I dthink Johnson is very talented...but in no way is he the pfp best fighter in the ufc....
his resume just doesn`t warrant that type of consideration....but that`s rogan for you...:0074
