a night in which the front runners are folding badly....you could see mein losing confidence in the second when alves started putting on serious pressure....that roll to get away from the fence looked a tad desperate considering nothing was really happening to that point in the 2nd round...

Same here. I think he still has the rod in the leg, so maybe that helps with the confidence.
At best, Diaz won the first round. He has to do something. This is wildly entertaining, but he has to try to win, not just clown the clowner.

I`m not overly impressed with silva....long stretches of zzzzz......I guess you have to understand the severity of the injury and the layoff.....
