Well that was bullshit! UFC wanted Connor to win and Herb gave him the win. He was getting smashed and Mendes would've kept taking him down. The fans got screwed in not seeing the fight continue!

Connor reminds me of Anderson Silva. His fighting style is very similar and when he connects it's so precise it does damage.

A full fight camp and Mendes wins with ease. Mendes was totally gassed. He would have taken Conor down at will for 5 rounds.
Conor is maybe 4 in the division, maybe three. Maybe, he ain't close to the best.
Edgar and Aldo wreck him, hell I think Patricio Freire beats him.
Herb Dean is not a good ref, why people think he is great is beyond me.

Solid body shots took their toll on Mendes. I'm on the Conor hype train now. He just beat the second best 145 pound guy in MMA history. Still has some holes in his ground game.

There is a reason Joe Rogan didn't ask Mendes if he thought it was a bad stoppage. UFC is setting up for the largest event in history. Read that Aldo was set to make $4M for this fight so he wouldn't have withdrawn if it wasn't serious. I'm guessing Christmas/New Years eve or Super Bowl card for Aldo/McGregor.

I'm not, he just beat a guy who took fight on 12 days notice and was gassed after 1 round. My mom has better take-down defence.
Conor will get absolutely toyed with when he fights Edgar and Aldo.
Mendes beats him easily with a full fight camp. Mendes took him down at will and he was gassed.
Hype Train will crash when Aldo or Edgar wreck him.
The stoppage was fine.....Mendes was totally gassed and would not have lasted another round anyway. Conor would have knocked him out in third round regardless.
Mendes was totally out of shape and his cardio was done.
Connor is definitely more Nick Diaz than Anderson Silva. Don't give him that honor until he rounds off his game.
