Me to on Miller

I will say about conor, didn't like him at first. He came out of the gate a little too strong for me, grabbing the belt at the Aldo press conference wasn't cool, stuff like that. But 2 things I like about him are, he will fight anyone and is very exciting, comes to fight. And 2 he was pretty respectful after the fact with Nate.

good for tate but her winning a championship basically confirms what a weak division 135 is...pulling a win out (in a fight she was obviously losing)is not an anomaly for tate....it`s a regular occurrence...she pretty regularly loses lots of rounds.....

she`s an extremely weak belt holder...she beat holm because holm is pretty much an mma neophyte and has no ground game whatsoever....she definitely loses the belt whenever rousey decides to get back into the cage...probably,prior to that,imo...

we have gadelha vs jedreczyk on deck...that`s a real fight with two seriously talented little beasts that have no love between them....matter of fact that entire division is full of dangerous little terrors.....

hard to figure which division in the ufc is the weakest....the division that mighty mouse owns(by default),the heavyweights(it`s so badly recycled that ben rothwell looks to be in the running for a title shot) or the women`s 135 lb division...

She wasn't losing, she won 2nd round 10-8. Fight would have been a draw.

I'm a huge Diaz bro's fan, but lets be real...Nate is a around top 10 LW, and certainly not a top 10 WW.

Conor got destroyed in the 2nd round by him and Nate hadn't even had a training camp while Conor did.

McGregor needs to stay at 145 or try 155. I seriously would be shocked if McGregor could beat anyone in the top 20 of the UFC in the WW division. At LW I would consider him a fringe top 10.

I've had this debate with my friend for a few years now about Jon Jones moving up to HW.

When you move up weight classes there is TYPICALLY such a raw difference in punching power, reach, weight, and ability to take a punch.

Now I will say comparing Jones to McGregor isn't fair. But I do think that Jones will see his reach, strength, and ability to take a punch significantly tested. Those advantages you have at a lower weight class disappear.

Jon has said he wants the HW title too.
If he can stay sober which I doubt..... watch out.

He could go up with only putting on 20 pounds or so and be ok.

Good point about his current advantages that would disappear though

I think his biggest advantage will remain with his reach. But that will shrink some. Those heavyweights can throw some damn bombs man. I would venture to say the weakest of the HW can pack a mean punch with legit 1 punch KO power lol

There is a significant difference in moving up from say 170 to 185 than 205 to fighting a legit 250-265 pound man.
