I can think of 4 others that were worse (Maia/Silva the worst). But yes, it was a bad title fight.
Woodley with an absolute gift decision, an absolute gift.
Woodley lucky as fuck to win that fight.........

That was maybe the 9th worst decision I have seen in MMA, no way in hell Woodley won that fight.
And yes the fight was bad, but regardless......no way Woodley won that fight, he did nothing for 23 of 25 minutes of that fight, nothing. So clear 48-47 win for Thompson.....
at the absolute absolute absolute worst you could say it was a draw, but no way in hell Woodley won that fight, none.

At least Silva gave us a reason to boo or something to watch with his actions. But yeah, that was awful too.
This was just awful for 24min40seconds without any time of entertainment.
Thompson won that fight. The judges literally just told us "Woodley won the fight from 1 take down, and 15 seconds of punches." :142smilie
thankful Woodley got the nod....

I agree. The most pro-Woodley person could only say he won 2 rounds. It isn't debatable that he lost 3 rounds....well, unless you officially did judge this fight :mj07:
Yeah ok...a guy that says "I am the best ever" and 'Watch me go finish Thompson in the 2nd round" goes out there and does fucking nothing for 23 minutes, yeah glad he won:facepalm:

Hopefully the UFC isn't dumb enough to headline Woodley again. Woodley just cost himself millions by that snooze fest. These guys who complain about Conor go out and put on performances like that and complain :mj07:

Well he is the champ and he did smash Lawler in the 1st round, so he will headline again, hard not to have a champ as a non main event.

If I was judging that BS last night, the results would have shown Wonder Boy winning 3 to 2. However, I do believe in the concept of "beating the champion" and that was just not the case. Winning rounds in a championship fight because you did a little less nothing doesn't cut it. I can't believe he's had months to stew about the last fight and then does this......and Wonder Boy is one of my favorites!
