I think Herb Dean is not a good ref, but I don't blame him for fucking that up, I could see why he thought Lawler was out.

Askren still thinks he's number 1 in the world:142smilie:142smilie:142smilie

Whoever Askren fights next bet against Askren, Askren will lose his next fight if he fights any top guy.

Herb dean is a complete fucking tool...

As stated above, it was a bad call, but we all would have done the same thing, you could see why Herb stopped it, hell Cruz and Rogan were yelling he was out. Herb is not a good ref but in that case you can see why the call got fucked up.

Askren was mighty lucky he escaped that fight, he was super close to losing, super close.

Askren will get shredded if he fights anybody in the Top 5.

I?m not so sure about that. He?s a talented fighter and being able to weather that initial beating Ruthless gave him showed me a side of him I hadn?t seen in his fights against the nobodies in the other promotions he?s fought in.
Saying that, there?s no getting around the fact he?s 34. Put him in with a young lion and he?s gonna have his hands full for sure.

The +170 underdog absolutely toyed with Woodley. Woodley talked so much smack, well that sure shut him up:lol:

Woodley got schooled.

Poor Colby he said Usman would get knocked out in 1st round and would be fighting Woodley for the title, well that sure as fuck ain't happening.

Oh wait there is number one in the world Ben Askren:facepalm:

And oh yeah Woodley said a DII wrester would never take him down.............whoops:142smilie:142smilie

The scoring of 50-45 is criminal. 50-43 should have been the best Woodley saw. That was absolute domination.

Totally agree. Rogan loves UFC and has major respect for fighters and I?m trying to remember a time when he showed that kind of awe and respect to a fighter in a post fight interview.
I?ve been watching the UFC since it was no holds barred brawling 25 years ago and that was most likely the most dominating performance I?ve ever seen.
And the reason why is because Tyron Woodly is no joke. He?s one of the best fighters in the world today and he got absolutely DOMINATED tonight.
That fight is one for the ages? not for the skills showed by both fighters, but for the total domination of the new champ.
WOW!
