i just took a small stab at lutter. i just like the way he is talking. Im tired of seeing guys who want to fight the other guys fight. He actually wants to fight his fight. We shall see.

I think there is some value in Lutter at +400.
Gonna put a bill on him - if its style vs. style, I'll take the grappler/submissionist.

Damn Griffin ruined my perfect night. I heard it was a great fight though.

I would have liked to have seen Lutter with his A game but like I said Anderson is good on the ground.

Had a good night because of it so I'm happy.

Oh yeah, if the Franklin line is too high I'm taking him big when it first comes out. And by big, I'm saying if he's not more than 500.(Franklin vs Mcdonald that is)

Silva wins but isnt impressive at all.
Lutter was a tub of shit and should have easily beat Silva if he didn't down a tub of KFC before the bout.
I actually thought Lutter was winning until the choke/elbows.
If you arent stupid enough to let Silva tee of on you with the clinch or haymakers you will beat him.
I'll keep pressing the dog against him unti he's exposed.

Bigslick, in the majority of Silvas fights he's been on his back like that. He likes it and seems to do well. The only person that will give him problems is Linland(when and if the UFC brings him in) or Fraklin when they fight again.

I personally think Silva wanted to show he could win it on the ground. He let Lutter take him down very easily.

Cool they just showed the Griffin Edgar fight. Franky is one of my favorite fighters now, he refused to lose and I like that.

Was it just me with a poor memory or did Griffin look a lot heftier than his last fight?

Man what damage did he do to his leg to get that victory? I thought this was the best fight of the night.
The lutter fight i thought he had Silva knocked out. I think a couple of these refs with Ufc are kinda bad. The guy that allegedly got knee in the head took about fifteen punches before this refs i never saw before finally stopped it. I will say this tho the Lutter fight i might have stopped it because Silva looked like he was out for a second. I was totally fooled by the expression on his face. Silva has Gracie legs.

Silva's not bad on his back - long legs help out greatly - submitting a ground specialist the quality of Lutter isnt easy.

Nonetheless, you have to admit that Silva gave up the takedown too easily. In the past fight, Franklin was stupid to give into the clitch w/o the takedown (which he's not really good at to begin with). A less-than-tubby Lutter should have taken advantage of an inferior grappler (which I think Silva is).

Silva's pretty damn good, but I personally dont think that he's well-rounded enough to to last more than a single title defense or two.

Is it just me or does tito look like a complete queer?

Those midgets were the best fighters of the night - no doubt - much love to the oompa loompas......

First off.......the Griffin fight killed my night, but I will say that was a great fight. Although how the hell three judges gave all three rounds to Edgar is beyond me...no way that was the case....but I will say this...how in the love of fu** did Edgar not tap :scared

2nd....if Lutter wasn't such an idiot and think it was such a good idea to try to cut 900 pounds in 24 hours I think he would have won that fight. I knew Lutter was going to give Silva a good match, I didn't know he'd disgrace himself by not making weight and in turn be as delapitated as a model on crack....shame on lutter...shame :nono: Dana White might nver let him fight in the UFC again

also........major kudos to Sanchez.....major kudos!

and lastly.......McDonald has a real shot at beating Franklin, he will be a huge odds and worth a bet for sure.

Kick, McDonald has no shot at Franklin. Franklin made a bad decision against Silva thinking he could fight out of the clinch. He will come back and I believe lay a complete arse whooping on McDonald. If the odds are right, I may go 3 or 4 units on him. Then we will get to see the rematch and it will be a good one. Franklin won't make the same mistake twice.

Don't know if any of you saw this but this should help when looking at future fights so you know why he looked the way he did last night.

From Joe Rogan:

"Anderson Silva had knee surgery on both knees just 11 weeks ago. That was why he was so easy to take down, and that was why he couldn't squeeze 100% when he had Lutter in the triangle. I ran into his manager after the show and he told me the whole deal. His knees were still very sore. Later that night I ran into Anderson in the hotel, and he was limping like he was just double knee barred."

Make sense as to why Anderson didn't use his low kicks at all.

Sponge, I think Rogan is awesome. A lot of people on the MMA boards hate him but I don't know why. He says things that most of us would say but think we shouldn't, he gives details about what is going on and what fighters should be doing to counter and most importantly to me is that he loves MMA and you can tell.

A couple ufc ago he wasn't there and i missed him. It just didn't have the same feel. I just think he does a terrifc job and is a joy to listen to.
