Flipper I think he was referring to the UFC fight card

Diego Sanchez vs Josh Koscheck

i know i started this thread awhile back but im starting to like this card. I think the Sanchez fight could be one to remember. Any thoughts on this guys besides the one already posted? Oh and Weasal tonight we are on the same team so don't be tying me up in that political crap. I got the last word so lets keep it at that. You tapped out. :SIB This is awesome the first fights are on HBO 5 eastern time. I kinda think Manfredo is gonna make this a fight. Hopefully his rock chin doesnt get him killed. With Leonard in his corner this can't hurt. (Watch him get knocked out in 20 seconds now). I honestly don't believe this kid could have anyone in his corner that will change his way of fighting. First time he is hit all the knowledge he attained will go right out the window

you`re such a bomb thrower.....:nono::D

my canadian friends....spongy has a history of serious head trauma....cut him some slack......

Weasal i think this will be a lot closer than people think. Serra isn't a clown like the odds make him out to be. Im a GSP fan and i wouldn't bet against him at 6 to 1 but what is it now 12 to 1. People are making this out to be like Crocops first fight. Serra has never embarassed himself. I think this goes the distance. I think St Pierre is putting a lot of pressure on himself for something quick to happen. It might, but Serra is pretty discipline. I think its gonna be a good fight just like i thought the Manfredo fight would be. The differance here is that UFC is actually real and not like the judges in boxing.

I had a big win with Josh Weasal and i feel dirty for taking this money. This was a fight i hope i never remember. These guys can fight again tomorrow with the lack of energy they gave out tonight. Why oh why does a wrestler always have to prove himself by standing up? Why not let the boxer prove himself on the ground?

was gsp fight a fix?
did gsp throw this fight?

This isnt like the olden days. The fights are getting a lot closer talent wise. I know a lot of Canadian guys love GSP but man at anytime anyone can win these fights. Serra was no joke and at least he had a chance. That is all these guys need is a chance. One front face guiotine can end any of these fights. Everytime i bet one i cringe when this happens. Hey my Canadian friends GSP will be back.

First of all... :142crying

then.. :wtf:

I'm on vacation and was so pumped for last night fight..... Didnt bet on it because of the odds (Thank God!)

2 things either....

1) That fight was fixed and mafia swept the board last night

2) St-Pierre took him way too lightly and had no real "gameplan".

wich one is it...

That was one of the biggest upset in the UFC history so you gotta think about it...

Dont forget Dana White promised to GSP after his fight vs Hughes that he would be fighting in Montreal pretty soon... That looks like a nice "Hollywood" set up for a GSP revenge fight in front of his fans in Montreal... :yup

i`m still having trouble getting my head around what happened last night....st pierre wasn`t nearly as aggressive as he was vs hughes.....and hughes was lethargic in the loss to st pierre....both were way overconfident....and you just can`t have that mindset when somebody`s trying to take your head off....

sanchez cost me a parlay....i can`t imagine why, after the second round, that sanchez didn`t engage koscheck...even go to the ground.....

koscheck`s the better wrestler, but i think that sanchez would have had a shot at submitting him...he`s been choked out...

that`s why i have so much respect for that little dewd garcia that was beaten like a red headed step-child vs that beast huerta....

that kid never stopped trying...he really wanted to win at any cost...he took a beating, but he gave himself a chance to win.... and it wasn`t much of a chance...

i can`t recall seeing anything quite like this kid in quite awhile...

he had to know that by continuing to fight as hard as he did,he was just gonna take an even worse beating...

he was laying on the ground, actually trying to punch, with brio, from his back....

i`d like to see the scale they used on those guys...because huerta was at least two "boxing" weight classes bigger than garcia.....he was taller,thicker.....

garcia`s a real man...incredible heart...

and for those that think Serra won.....it didn't happen....that was a "fake feed", GSP actually won in the 2nd round by rear naked choke. Ask anybody that was at the fight GSP won.....no lie :142smilie
