I was thinking the same thing when I bet it.
Oh well, I like all these fighters and it will make it exciting fight by fight. One at a time baby.
I just dont see any of these guys going down on me GSP style.
Sorry for the shot,Kick.

Well after much thought I'm going with one fight only and I'm doing it for my second largest UFC wager this year.

Oritz -111 3units

Tito is too big for Evans and has way too much experience. I really like Evans and I think he has a chance in this fight. His future is very bright but at basically a pick em I'll take Tito. This is going to be ground and pound central. I think the size difference will have people saying Evans should go down a weight class.

Not betting on them but if I did I would take.
Herring +516(he doesn't have much of a chance but for these odds he just needs a very small chance)
Nickels +383(way too high)
Franca +232(should be a close fight)
Nate the great+137(can't wait to see this one)

ps if I can get down on Rampage(currently at -153) I'll be doing it for a 5unit play. I like Henderson but those are great odds.

Lay i feel the same way as you but im starting to worry about Evans boxing skills. Just think they are far superior but man when you see these two stand next to each other Tito looks so much bigger. I think im gonna take a shot with Tito also and hope he doesn't get caught. By the way Henderson is one bad man. I think that line is high. Rampage seems to shut down when someone connects and if anyone is gonna Henderson will.

as i said before....i was with you 100% on tito before giving this deep thought.....and it scares me that it appears that you have 2 guys whose careers may be heading in opposite directions.....

one thing i saw on the pre-fght special.....i`m not sure that tito hasn`t gotten inside evans` head a bit....

he doesn`t look like a guy that believes he can win.....

i`ve gone back and forth on this like a see saw.......

i parred klitschko with batsangurov in boxing...along with sherk.....i believe that sherk will outlast franca...

i have tony thompson in boxing next week....

i wish i could remember more about mike nickels from the tuf shows, because i think bonner`s a go-against kinda guy....more than a tad overrated... ....

btw...if those odds move a little more,i`m taking dan henderson....the guy`s been very much on his game of late...

g.l.guys...

i took Tito and now im having all kinds of second thoughts. Went with the experience but i wouldn't be surprised to see a vicious knockout here. Im not sold on anyones hands that he has fought recently including Lidells. Belford went down like he always does so that wasn't a good barometer. I might buy my bet back. I took Silva also and im thinking of buying that back too lol. Nate to me just doesn't throw wild punches. He actually looks like he has a boxers skill. Silva's last fight i thought he was out when he hit the ground but someway he got out of it. Weasel another thing is Randy Coulture isn't to shabby picking these fights and he like Evans and Silva.

All the talk in the MMA forums is that Robinson will submit Florian.
Might be worth the odds to play him.
Also, they keep saying Heath is going to make it close.
I think he does, but just like the previous 2 matches. Not gonna finsih Nog and he will do more than enough to beat Heath.

I think Sherk is the best play on the board. Ortiz odds seem strange- I would think he would be a heavier Fav- so something smells on that - + he is an A-hole and I'd like to see him get KO'd- no play. SHERK BIG - a true professional

Fade i couldn't agree more about the odds stinking. If this was any other sport i wouldn't touch Tito here but to me this is the most legit sport around. Its when it gets in the judges hands there could be a few problems. Plus if anyone is gonna tank a fight it would be the big self promoter. I wish i knew Tito's plans if he lost? Is he headed somewhere else? Be the king in another federation? He loses here i can't see how he stays.

i`d guess you saw the profile of sherk on spike...pretty amazing....

this guy has cardio up the giggy...he has to be about as strong as anybody at the weight....and i noticed that he tucks his chin into that chest pretty nicely when boxing...

he`s a fireplug...short limbed with great cardio..which makes him very difficult to sub, early or late....

he does have to be careful of franca catching him on the temple or the back of his head with one of those wild, wide punches...

the only problem for sherk is that i don`t think he can submit franca....does he submit anybody?..does he even try?....maybe a choke here and there..... he`s very one dimensional....he`s going to have to take franca down and outwork him for 5 rounds...or gnp him out....

it`s not gonna be easy,though...look at franca`s record....5 losses....4 were by either split or majority decision.....one stoppage due to punches.... hasn`t lost in 3 years...

sherk?...2 losses to who?......matt hughes and gsp?......i`d say that`s nothing to be embarrassed about....and i`d guess that both losses were at 170....2 wins over karo parisyan?....

pretty fricking tough bout...i believe that sherk will grind out a 5 round decision...

i`m still totally flummoxed by the tito/evans fight.....i expect tito to start fast...but i wonder if he`ll fade ala griffin?....to tough for me...

Hey weasel what do you think of Nates hands? To me he looks so much more like a pure boxer than what Silva is use to so this concernes me a lot. Your not getting wild haymakers or him winding up to throw punches. All nice straight punches. I think he could stand with Silva but Silva's reach is a concern. Im not to sold on Silva on the ground either. I did take Silva basically cause of the reach and speed and of couse Coulture likes him in this spot which doesn't hurt at all. Not to sure Coulture likes Tito tho. He said Evans may give him a lot of problems.

Woo, glad I stayed away from the other fights. Anderson is going to KILLLL Rich in their rematch. Rich better have a great gameplan.

I think we'll see Henderson lose to Jackson and then go back down to defend his belt there and a unification match vs Anderson and that's where Anderson COULD lose.

sherk and silva?.......beasts....how sherk took at least 3 monster knnees to the head/jaw and kept going is beyond me....

those were flying knees!....and he was on franca, who never stopped trying, like flypaper....

silva?....manhandled a very dangerous fighter....marquardt was like a boy against a man....

and heath herring?....that was a classic example of "sparring partner mentality"....he absolutely should have finished nogueira...he had a top echelon fighter basically done, and couldn`t handle it...he backed off...almost like winning was just to big to deal with.....

tito/evans......tito did enough to win.....i feel bad for layinwood..that point did you in.....early on he was just to big for evans...evans definitely looked like a deer in the headlights early on.....

but,i think we need to put the "tito cardio" myth to bed....he could barely stand up at the end....if it had gone another round,he gets ktfo....another 30 seconds and he may have gotten stopped...

great night of fights....compare this to the klitschko debacle...and simms/alcine.....no contest.....even though it was fun seeing darchinyan get put down.......

congrats guys...

Weasel although i feel Evans fought like he just wanted to make it go three rounds i think he wins easily if Tito doesn't grab that fence every time he was in jeopardy of being taking down. I must have seen him do it five times. It reminded me of Fedors last fight were he was being taken down and he grabs the rope and all the sudden he is in the dominating position instead of the other way around. That did work out well for Tito tho. He gets to fight the same guy again instead of a top five guy. Evans is nice but i like to see him fight a big name. Got to remember his next fight is the last on his contract. I thought at the weigh in it looked like he lost some muscle compared to others fights which i thought was a good thing but again he is winded. He needs to get a thinner build and get rid of some of that muscle. Not to sure Liddel is ever gonna see that belt again because Titos boxing skills are average like the ten guys Lidell beat till rampage. Boy in my world Henderson/ Silva match would be a dream matchup.
