Wow, as fans all we can hope is that the UFC can talk Dan Henderson into defending his pride belt vs Anderson. Anderson is in a place right now that is pretty special. A very dominating fighter.

Nice night 18!

Next event is only a month away and from the looks of it should have a number of bettable fights.

best part of the whole night was to see Brock Lesnor arrival. Maybe Dana can put him on the card in about three years. What a terrible card in my opinion and a complete bore. Vera performance was a disgrace. first time i actually thought Tim silva was creating all the action. Vera from the opening bell looked like he just didn't want to fight and by round two he was winded. Can't wait for the next huge night. Bisping against Evans. What a special match i think i will order it early. Somebody please bring back Pride. Greed is now out of control in the UFC.

i hope that`s the end of the gurgel nut-hugging for awhile...i was getting nauseated.......

the way rogaine and goldfarb were slobbering over his domination of robinson in the 1st round was ridiculous(he laid on him...barely landed a glove)

the 2nd and 3rd rounds were examples of domination...robinson put a beat down on jorge....

i wonder if they tell the announcers to play up certain guys(considering the hometown and human interest angles and stuff)...

black belt or not, gurgel a middle of the road fighter...nothing more...i hope this ends all the hype...

Yeah these cards are sucking, but I think that is partially a product of so many upsets.

I like Rich a lot but he's a total puss and shouldn't be fighting anymore. Anyone who is truely scared of getting hurt by someone else shouldn't be wasting our time. I think he was happy about not getting too hurt and not upset about losing.

Layin there was something strange about franklin to. Looked like he fought scared and his eyes wanted to pop out of his head. Im starting to see what Mayweather once said as how these guys are just tough street guys. The way Franklin was throwing those wide punches a first year amateur boxer wouldn't have done that. Vera tho was a big disgrace. He also looked scared. Ihad to laugh when the announcers kept saying that he doesn't want to be on the cage and Silvia was dictating it. It was the other way around and he wanted to be there. I really liked his style going in but im not sure where it went. His conditioning is terrible but he just laugh at it. Maybe Silvia is a bad ass because im starting to think these guys fighting him want no part of him. The only guy recently that wanted to fight with him was Couture and that was a pretty decent fight. By the way did you see Franklin always looking at the clock? Oh and that shot Silvia took, the knee to the head was viscious. How he came back from that is amazing.

Weasel these are little signs that the sport is slipping into the corporate world. this kind of crap just makes things worse but its somehow found the UFC. I love Rogan and think he does a terrific job but i notice this to.

I couldn't agree more, this card was brutal and I watch each fight too. The next card is terrible too, Bispeng decision. I sure hope White doesn't drive this thing into the ground if he hasn't already. Silva is on a different level right now, his strikes are so precise, truly dominating. Congrats to those that made money.

updated record.........

UFC Record (since UFC 58)
--------------------------------------

Prop Bet 1-4
Fighter vs. Fighter 48-33
Parlays 18-21

+32.43 Joe Rogans

Good job to those that made money...well done to all :SIB

Thoughts.........

1) Tim Sylvia is a joke.....and to say he "pushed the action" is like saying Jabba the Hut is a sprinter...gimmie a break...the guy couldn't "push the action" if ya gave him a machine gun and three hand grenades...he'd still sit there and do nothing:142smilie (reason why crowd boos when this "fighter" is in the ring)

2) Vera broke his hand in the first...would have been interesting to see what would have happened if he had two healthy hands

3) How in the love of fu** can you NOT show the MacDonald/Okami fight on PPV......what the hell:nono: :scared

4) I never want to see Tim Sylvia "fight" (if you call what he does "fight") ever again.

5) That was one nasty cut Kalib received....damn :scared

6) Anderson is damn good....damn good :scared

7) I would love to see GSP versus Anderson....wow:scared Yes I know...different weight classes...but baby would that be sweet:scared

i like rogan, too guys...i wasn`t putting him down........he`s a real fan and his love of the sport is as clear as his perpetual 5 o`clock shadow....

he knows his shit,too....

i just get tired of some of the hype.....i think that mma is getting to the point that the hype is almost unnecessary....it`s getting that big...

i`m a hardcore boxing guy...have been for decades...but, i skip boxing ppv`s when the card looks poor.....

i paid almost 50 bucks for this drecch card.....and i`ll pay another 50 for bisping/rashad....knowing it might be disappointing....

i`m hooked....but i really miss pride....pride was fantastic,imo....

so,even though the hype of some undeserving guys grates a bit,i guess they`re marketing the sport pretty damned well...

and i agree with sponge and jr on silva/ franklin...franklin looked incredibly slow...his punches had little snap...and were wide....i think that when things didn`t go his way by the end of round one,he was mentally done....he had silva on the ground, and didn`t do much damage....

i don`t know where franklin goes from here...

a fight i want to see...roger huerta and clay guida......whew.....

KIck, what in the world did you want him to do? Vera didn't want to fight. The first five seconds with a healthy hand he grab on for dear life. Then when they were against the cage how many times did Tim look at the ref to get Vera to do something? To me Vera looked star struck like a guy who was in his first huge fight and couldn't handle the pressure. Trust me im not a fan of Tim's but you can't blame him on this one. Vera just wanted to get one or two shots of and then grab on for life. well that is the fight i saw. Oh and i think you are dead right. I wanted to see the mcdonald fight but i get that scrub from Cincy that Weasel raves about.
