all i`m saying is,what`s the sense in keeping a "picks" thread if not to help guys who follow find the sharp capper?....
i mean a guy could lose 7 in a row,make a 100 unit play on a 4-1 fave,and end up looking like king shit of turd island...and still be horrible and cost people money..
i don`t know what the purpose is...if it`s just for fun and isn`t meant to track anything,then,why not just have one big thread for everything?...
i get screwed up because i have multiple parlays combining boxing and mma that started from well over a month ago and are gonna end up with anderson silva...i have 5 parlays that are pending ending up with silva as the kicker in april...
whatever....no biggie...just thought a frame of reference might help lurkers...that`s why i try and put a higher prohibitive value on what i consider "solid" plays...and a much less prohibitive value on the couple of "throwaways" with dogs and "fun" plays that are obvious longshots...
we have to remember that guys look at this stuff and some might spend their hard earned money based on somebody`s post...
that`s on them...but i don`t like playing fast and loose with other folks money...that`s why i try and be more measured in what i post as a play and the value i attach to it...
but,thats me...maybe i`m being to analytical...

All me and Weasy are asking for is a way to level the field so people can make sense of performance. I'm not one of the guys that is going to matter because I obviously can't handicap MMA to save my life.

dont sweat it, gmroz..... there is a major learning curve when u start capping MMA.
i almost quit late last year & kick changed my mind... next thing i know i'm back on the plus side. :00hour (i was down over 11 units after my first few months of betting MMA)... it takes time to adapt to this "style" of betting coming from strictly side betting as was my case.
The unit thing is no biggie... i just put it that way so people can insert their own personal unit value and get an idea how i'm doing. In MMA you can't just have a record like 21-15 like you can with normal side betting b/c there are so many lopsided odds... if i was 1-5 i could still have a winning record in MMA.
I do it more for myself than anything... just to keep my ass in line and realize how much i'm winning or losing.
