sometimes a fighter needs to be given the hook..tate needs the hook(for her own good)...the game has passed her by(much like it passed rousey).....that was just ugly....

i take issue with the whole "injury" designation thing....looked from here like rodriguez had ortega`s arm all tied up in the scrum on the ground and in trying to extract it,ortega`s shoulder dislocated....had everything to do with what rodriguez was doing in real time....it wasn`t like the title fight a while back where the guy took a misstep and collapsed......
if that arm wasn`t engaged by rodriguez,wouldn`t have happened....it`s like breaking someone`s arm with an armbar...i mean that`s the entire point of arm and leg locks...to do damage or force a stoppage...doesn`t have to be pretty or clean...doesn`t even have to be intended.....just has to get the job done...and that incapacitated ortega....he essentially tapped...
that`s a legit win in my book...no asterisk necessary...
