Horrible bankroll management, period.

However, I have been thinking about how I bet other sports and I am going to test out with confidence level picks. Weight the fighters I really believe in, take chances on one-unit parlays. Been betting off and on for about ten years or so (I know, not very long), and tracking my results over that time. Because of a few horrible years in MLB when I was an action junkie, my percentage is right around 51%. Be a little higher without the baseball, but you have to add your lumps.

Have any of you guys had success weighting your bets or are you flat-bettors?

Thanks guys and enjoy the fights tonight!

"the bunker"
tough card to bet,imo......might nibble on the fringe ...small stuff just for action...

I`ve been watching the stahl line since it posted......I watched his youtube stuff and he`s pretty big and aggressive for the weight....burns,despite all the hype,is coming up from 155....keep hoping for a +150 but I doubt it gets there....burns is hard to read....the fact that stahl is from gustafsson`s camp only makes it more tempting...pretty sure I`ll bite for a small play...burns is supposedly a jitz beast,though...

I`m getting the feeling that Johnson either blitzes lil nog or has a terrible time with him...lil nog is a good boxer and fairly durable(the only bludgeoning on his record was vs soukoudjou back in the day)..and he`s a lefty(can`t discount that..the 2 guys on Johnson's record that I know are lefties beat him, belfort and clementi).........but lil nog is relatively slow footwork-wise.... lots think this is a foregone conclusion....I`m not one of them...might par Johnson itd with golovkin itd and hedge with lil nog at +450...small just for fun...

was leaning Bermudez until the weigh-in....guida looked naturally bigger...I know Bermudez is strong, but, guida `s pace is tough and if he`s naturally bigger and can smother Bermudez` power, who knows...for the record,i think Bermudez is good...but not chad mendes good...

Thomson/green?..who knows?...green on short notice and the recent passing of his brother make him a ??(was really thinking about it)...Thomson talking potential retirement....
too many questions...still a potentially great fight...

everybody raves about cummins work in the gym....and kingsbury off a layoff...he could get wrestle f`ed....cummins might be parlay material..but he`s so inexperienced...maybe take a fling with cummins and lawler small...

lawler/brown on paper is the best fight you could possibly make....lawler`s better technically...carries more power.....brown doesn`t give a shit about power...he just pressures his opponent until they wilt/quit or die....

can he smother and out-pace lawler?...this thing goes to the mat and lawler can be subbed(so can brown..but I doubt that lawler has the sub game to do it)...other than dong hyun kim(who I`m pretty sure is a lefty),I didn`t see any other southpaws on brown`s resume....so it`s hard to say how that factors in....

pulling for lawler..hard to root against brown...both paid their dues....

great card.....matchmaking seems to get better and better...

btw...anybody else see 6`6" liam mcgeary in bellator last night?...that`s a 205`er to keep your eye on....

Joanna Jedrzejczyk def. Juliana de Lima Carneiro via Unanimous Decision 30-27, 30-27, 29-28

Juliana Lima misses weight and loses the fight, that is what is supposed to happen.

That Joanna Jedrzejczyk has some good striking, very technical, good stuff.

Lots of love for Stahl......Burns shut him down and got the win, good scrap but Burns was the rightful winner.

Small play

Kyle Kingsbury ml (+180)
$30 to win $54

Gonna post one more before the Lawler fight, but it really think Kingsbury has a shot today. I think either Perpetuo or Kingsbury wins, so I'm pulling for Tim Means!!

Good scrap, both guys went for it. dos Santos a tad more aggressive and that got him the win.

Was a great fight, but Burns really was able to sneak those uppercuts in under the wild strikes from Stahl. That being said Stahl looks strong as heck and should be a decent prospect in the division. Wonder if he got spooked by his broken nose? :scared

That always annoys me when that happens to me, just sayin'

I tell ya, the first time I saw blood when sparring was a huge issue for me. Same for getting popped and seeing blood on my opponent's gi. You just have to give it time to get used to. Oh well.
