Won't matter soon for any of them, Khabib will be champ before long and he won't go anywhere once he gets it.
He's always hurt.

I like Conor at 145 or 155. One thing won't change for him by adding weight and it's his precision. The thing that will change is he'll have more power. I would say there's a chance he might have more speed as well because he won't be so exhausted from the cut. Do I think he'll be champ, not sure but for anyone that says he has no chance then well they probably said the same thing about the 145 class for him. Saying that, he has some horrible match ups because of the wrestlers in the division. 5 rounders are very big for him when he fights these guys. The more rounds the better chance he'll catch someone's chin. In a 3 rounder versus a good wrestler I would be worried about backing him.

You guys save your money up for Feb 6th, MJers are going to be buying new toys after that night is over.
He's always hurt.
if you`re thinking velasquez,be careful......werdum`s career is on a very dos anjos-like trajectory....matter of fact,i think they both train at the same place.....
hmmmm?.....
You know me to well my friend. I LOVE wrestlers that can win standing. Unless Cain has lost his marbles he won't go down to the ground once. Werdum is doing better but his standup is still crap.
I think I'm still burt hurt by Werdum screwing me in his first UFC fight. I was all over him and touted him as the next great and he laid a big fat egg versus Arvloski. I'll never forget that and will never forgive him for it.
True dat which is why once he wins it he'll never lose it. Not many fight. :toast:
if ronda doesn't train somewhere else
she's done
she might last a little longer with holm
0 and 2 and out
Ronda didn't lose the fight because of her skill-set(yes, ultimately she needs to improve her striking technique and Holms skills are what won her the fight), but she lost the fight because of the game plan.
Changing camps isn't the fine line between if she can beat Holm or not. It's pretty obvious while watching the first time she went in guns blazing and that doesn't work against a technical fighter like Holm. If she could take Holm down after being picked apart and gassed, I'm sure she can take her down with ease if she has a smart game plan.
I think people are just so blown away as to how Holm won the fight and how bad Ronda looked that we forget about some of the minor things that actually went on during the fight itself.
I think that holm was one of the few of late that actually didn`t play rousey`s game by attacking...she had the skillset to fight at a distance and did just that....
can rousey beat holm?...she can if she can cut distance SMARTLY and take holm down ...but she`ll never, ever win a striking contest with holm...she`s a lousy striker...the entire division is loaded with lousy starikers...matter of fact,it`s a terrible division top to bottom(when was the last time somebody didn`t actually rush at rousey to start a fight, aside from holm?)....the strawweights are already much more diverse and head and shoulders better...
rousey`s better than the rest because "the rest" are a sad lot...she`s a one trick pony(granted, she`s great at that one trick) but she`ll have to figure out how to get close enough to grapplef-ck holm in the interim...
this is why I was dying to see rousey/cyborg...cyborg will come right to ronda and try to decapitate her...but rousey will be able to get her hands on cyborg...strength vs strength...their styles mesh......
Well said mr weasel. Can you call someone a weasel while complimenting them? lol
Anyways, like you broke it down, there is more to a fight than just the result. It's easy to forget some of the minor things that happened in the fight when the result was that shocking and quick. If I'm Rousey, I work ZERO on boxing, and 100% on closing the distance and taking Holm down. Like Sonnen said, you're not closing a striking gap and learning that much new technique in 1 year, much less 6 months.
This is why I think simply a different game plan is all that Rousey needs. I'm not saying it'll work or that she will win their next fight. Who knows how it will play out. I can be a genius and say if she executes that game plan, then she will win lol
I'll be on Rousey big in a rematch unless the line is still way high.
