Wow, what an ending to an average night of fights.

Looks like Nate will address his medical issue tomorrow. Let's start taking guesses on what we think it is.

I'm going to say it's a really bad staph infection and because he didn't inform the UFC until Thursday it pissed Dana off.

It's been made out like the issue is very simple. Im going to guess he failed an eye exam and didn't follow up.

For the record I think all of these guys that are doing test replacement in sports are bs. That basically means any and all can do test and lower it before testing so that it is in the high range making it ok. For 99% of men if your test is in the high range of ok it is a lot, a lot more than you're use to.

Dana said he was "Disgusted" with Nate and if Nate releases the info, we will all understand why he will never fight in the UFC again :scared

Not sure why Dana keep saying it was one of the best cards that was ever seen :shrug: I thought they were borderline bad saved by the last fight. Fight of the night was basically a 1 round fight.

It's bs from Nate but IMO even more from Dana.

IF Nate was in contact with the UFC the whole time then it wasn't near as big of a deal as Dana made it out to be. The fact is that this is a big loophole in the system and I would imagine most of the fighters that are 30+ are doing it. There's a reason why Randy could fight into his 40s.

After Sonnen maybe Dana came out and said no more getting caught guys.

Kick, why isn't Sonnen kicked out of the UFC then? At least Nate really had physician doing it all and also went to an Endo. I can promise you and Endo isn't going to prescribe it if it's not needed. Of course I'm 39 and my wife's docs think I "need" therapy as well.(she manages a group of Endos) Sonne "said" he was on TRT but wasn't going through the same stuff Nate did. It seems like Dana is pissed his main fight got F'd up and not that Nate's levels where too high. He didn't really care that Sonnen got busted after the Silva fight since he made his money off of it.

Sonnen deserved what he got......but what Nate did was much worse...he fucked up the Versus Card and was not even cleared to fight. Plus he had 6 weeks to clear it up.

Sonnen got suspended by the Athletic Commission but is still in the UFC and he lied about the TRT.

Nate was TOTALLY up front so how was what he did worse? Did you listen to the interview? The reason it got screwed is because he was up front and they knew he was on TRT so he was taking test to show his levels. Sonnen WOULD HAVE but he LIED about it and didn't tell anyone before hand. So one guy lies, gets to fight and the other guy is up front but doesn't get to fight and the guy who was honest did "much worse." Really Kick?

I believe Nate not because of what he said but because of what the guy from the Penn Athletic Comm said. Nate is free to fight in Penn now. Sonnen got suspended for life because he lied. Nate couldn't fight this weekend but can now because he was up front about his TRT and now has his levels in check.
