I, too, have owned pit bulls and staffys for 30+ years and have yet to experience any difficulty with any of them, not even so much as a snarl. Now if they see a squirrel or the fox that hangs outside in the front yard at night, all hell can break loose. It truly is how you raise them. My kids as well as all their friends are and always have been around my dogs growing up, and no one has been scared any issue could happen, at least that I know of.
They go to doggy day care once a week, love it, and are favorites of the staff because they are plain and simple treated like every other dog.
I will say one last thought. This type breed is the one and ONLY thing I have in common with KOD on this site. Period. Not one other thing.
