So adding 192,000 jobs is BAD for the economy?

At this time when we have a black democrat president, it sure is. Maybe doggie should read the following post by ssd. It was written with people like him in mind.

i'm sorry - I did not explain myself fully on that statement, Trench.

I'm trying to point out the hypocrisy that is so evident from both sides.

When Bush was Pres, u had anti-war demonstrators getting headline coverage on the Iraq war - you do not see that today as the US under Obama is engaged in Afghanistan and perhaps, soon, Libya.

If the problem under Bush was "blood for oil" then it should still be the same problem under Obama....otherwise, they were just protesting Bush.

When Bush was Pres, oil spiked up and Republicans said nothing but Democrats screamed bloody murder....now, today, the situation is somewhat reversed.

Each 'side' uses current events in their own propaganda until it is no longer useful, usually 2 or 4 years, depending on if it is Congressional or Executive....

Skul,
You've posted that clip about fifty times. I finally watched it after about 10 times and it doesn't even say what you think it does. You could have a job at Faux.

Exactly. Several of us have explained that clip to him the other 50 times he's posted it and he STILL doesn't get it.

Skul, get some new material. You're getting as stale as Dawgs with his "gov tit/cyber troll" references in every post.

What did she mean by those comments? Was there a follow- up interview with clarification? I take the comments at face value, but mainly because I have heard similar commentary locally from lower income black community.

Also, I am no fan of Obama, but my possibly tainted recollection is that the McCain bailout plan for those who were upside-down on their mortgage was far larger than O's. Seems she was cheering on the wrong dude:shrug:

She meant that Obama was going to straighten this country out so that she wouldn't have to worry about putting food on her table and gas in her tank. There is no way that she could have thought that Obama was gonna start cutting checks to black people because he was president. Which she doesn't say but Skul seems to think she does. But whatever. Like black people shouldn't be happy that one of their own is finally president after all the shit they've been through. Needless to say all politicians suck, but I understand how the black community thinks about Obama and I don't blame them at all.

They sure do love it. Skul posts it whenever he knows he is too drunk to attempt to write in English.

On the course!
Of course it's all about the spin.

When wasn't it been? That's why I HATE to get involved in any of this crap! But, being a state employee in Wisconsin.....I'm neck deep in it.

What I read on the local blogs makes me want to puke, there are so many outright lies about how "good" the public employees have it.

If I went to one of those blogs today and posted some bullshit, it would be quoted on twenty different blogs by Tuesday, and by Thursday......it would be the latest "truth"!

If I hate you, I'll eat up any hate speech I can find.

Bobby--Adding any is good--having a positive outlook also good--just don't think it hurts to know the truth.

--both sides use same format--

I things things will certainly improve--Corps have been in dark about taxes-healthcare-carbon taxes etc for long time. Things are looking much better and they can finally see some clarity on immediate future.

"Those poor corporations have it soooooooo hard... it's just not fair...waaaaahhhhh!!!" :mj07:

Tax cuts, subsidies, bailouts, exorbitant bonuses, union-busting politicians in their back pockets, 5 sympathetic supreme court justices handing them the keys to the kingdom, CEO's making on average 700 times what their average employee makes... there's no end to it.

And Dawgs wants us all to hold hands and sing Kumbaya for the poor oppressed corporations... :grouphug:

Dawgs, if I thought you actually knew any better, I'd think you're dishonest. :142smilie

Well, I'm seriously concerned about it.

If anyone thinks this guy has put all of the cards on the table, they are nuts.

I have no doubt in my mind he will be shooting for privatization of as many jobs as he can. He shitcanned deputies in Milwaukee when he was in charge down there, and hired Wakenhut to do security for the county buildings, and running of prisoners.

He always talks about taking away collective bargaining to give municipalities "the tools" to help them manage their budget........I think it's funny as hell he's never expounded on WTF that means, and NO ONE has asked him!!!!

IMO, those tools are the ability to say, "See you later", and you have no recourse, since your union has no say in the matter any longer.

Maybe I'm wrong......but I'm guessing I'm not.

doggie, we need to have a talk about you voting against your own interests. Your bigoted view of the world based on religion, gays, and the fear of every other country on the planet is astonishing.

Dawgs applies the Bernie Madoff defense to corporate greed...

"It's not our fault that we've had more than 200 years to corrupt capitalism beyond the point that our founding fathers would no longer recognize it, or that politicians can be bought for pennies on the dollar, or that the public at large is so gullible. How could they not know what we're up to?"

I'm just wondering where everyone thinks the money comes from to pay the public sector wages?

I'm just wondering where everyone thinks the money comes from to pay the public sector wages?

It comes from taxes, state and local taxes in the case of school teachers, and apparently a majority in Wisconsin are willing to pay those taxes.

Any other questions?
