Day 15 Action

Marin Cilic beat Kei Nishikori $2.05 (+105) *1.5 units

Nish has played a ton of tennis, a ton, the dude will be tired. Awesome performance for him to make the final, but he will come up short in the final. Marin will be too much for the Japanese man, just too much. Goran will have his boy ready to go, nerves won't be a big factor, Marin wins in 4 sets.

As long as Cilic attacks the net he'll win.......kind of like this.....

Well there is somebody out there that really really really wants Nishikori to win the US Open.....

http://espn.go.com/tennis/usopen14/...e-us-open-men-final-kei-nishikori-marin-cilic

"A spokesman for TAB, Australia's largest bookmaker, confirmed that one of its bettors has a seven-match tennis parlay, which will be declared a winner if Nishikori wins. The $40 bet ($37.51 U.S.) would turn into $135,526 ($127,094.93 U.S.)."

And I am sure there are gamblers that had these odds.....

"Nishikori's odds to win the US Open, and become the first Asian-born man to win a Grand Slam title, were as high as 250 to 1. The odds to be the last man standing for Cilic, seeded 14th in the men's draw, were also as high as 250 to 1 in July."
