Dent would have had to play his best to have a shot...thought he would and the crowd would get behind him. My feelings were way off, though. He laid an egg and the ugly Scot relied on his excellent return and passing shot game. Oh well, until next time.

guy is dumb as his tennis racket. Hits one good shot, then 4 horrible ones. double faults twice to lose the match. :mj07: :mj07:

Anybody wondering why Nadal opened so short in this clash against Monfils? Seems like bettors have certainly taken the bait, or was it early value? Monfils was only +140 last night and now I can get him at +175. That initial line was a head scratcher to me. :shrug: Normally I'd be inclined to take Monfils on that alone, but betting against Rafa is difficult for me to do. Visions of that Australian Open final v. Federer dancing in my head...too much grit, will, and determination. But is his fitness all there? With Gael's unbelievable court coverage it's sure to be tested. Any other thoughts on the nightcap match?

Fernando Verdasco beat Novak Djokovic $3.30 (+230) *1 unit

Parlay
---------------------------
C.Black/L.Huber beat N.Llagostera Vives/M.J.Martinez Sanchez
Kateryna Bondarenko beat Yanina Wickmayer

odds = $2.04 (+104) *3 units

Verdasco worth a shot at those odds, guy fights like crazy and has tons of heart, plus one hell of a game. Taking a shot at those odds is worth it.

I agree, Verdasco can beat anyone anyday.
Talented lefties like him don't come across too often.
By the way, were you righty or lefty kick ?
