Andy Roddick....

Andy Roddick....

How the hell do you lose in the 1st round
to this bum?

To boot you lose in straight sets...

You should be ashamed of yourself..

Never take anyone lightly

That was pathetic for a #2 seed

Let`s see if Andre can get some wins :mj14:

As you can see from Muller tonight he is no bum, he is just inconsistent. Roddick wasnt a 2 seed, I believe he was a 3 seed and wasnt going to do much anyway, he had a tough draw. He needs to really work on adding more variety to his game, just having a big serve wont cut it anymore.

And another thing I believe he lost on his birthday

Did you expect Roddick to lose to this 1 hit wonder? :cursin:
Yes, he is a bum.Roddick should never lose in the 1st round to this piece of junk.
He was not going too do much anyway?(after the fact that is easy to say)

He had a tough draw?

Gilles Muller ranked about 60.
If they played again this afternoon,i am sure Roddick would beat this unknown, without a problem.

Maybe he was partying for his birthday in the afternoon. :cursin:

Fuk Gilles Muller, you had your 15 minutes of fame

I didnt have enough confidence that Muller would beat Roddick to put money on it, because he isnt consistent enough.

I did have Muller +8 games though, and I did think Roddick would lose early, as he had a tough draw.

You guys are giving Roddick too much credit.

Muller may lose the next round, as I like the way Ginepri is playing right now, even if Roddick did win I would of had something on Ginepri to beat him in the next round.

As I told one of my friends that Roddick did not warrant being favored by so much, as I knew Muller would give him a tough match.

Inzone,i was justing venting out that he lost and i am a fan of his.I don`t bet tennis. But you got to admit this is a huge upset. You are the only 1 that thought he would be given a tough match by this guy.I got this from espn....

Villanova over Georgetown in 1985? The New York Jets in Super Bowl III? Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson? In its modest first-round way, this match was right up there on the scale of surprise.

This was a huge upset.

Anyways,Andy will be back stronger then ever,i hope he learned from this.

Enjoy the open,have a good day. :)

I never question your credibilty on your picks, why are you questioning my take that I didnt think Roddick wasnt going to go very far.

Im sure Anders probably didnt think Roddick was going to go very far.

Okay,i believe you then.Well that was great capping.
Like i said,i was just venting out that the American got ousted in the 1st round.
I am not questioning you.
Keep up the good work.

Do you like anything today? :mj14:

I would like Andy to play well also, he's a good guy.

I hope he learns that he needs to work much harder too.

But I dont believe that this is a huge upset. Anyone that bets tennis probably didnt like Andys chances this year. He hasnt been playing well lately.

I dont bet womens too often, and today is just the last few matches of the first round in mens. Not too many good matches to bet on.

guys..........kickserv has to chime in here...this is what pisses me off about my game.....yes I played pro for a bit.......yes I sucked.....but I did play...and if you really know the mens game.....you would know that this is NOT that big of an upset...this happens ALL THE TIME in the men's game..............ALL THE TIME...and if you watched the match you would see that Andy was far from "a stiff" I mean did ya see how well Muller played!! I mean hello..................and I know that many of you will find this funny.......but I actually played Muller 4 years ago......and have also played 6 others that are in the US Open..........and I assure you that the difference between 500 and 100 in the world is NOTHING....NOTHING at all...and the difference between 100 and 10 is next to nothing...........this is not female tennis where number 5 destroys number 100.....the men's game is sick............everybody beats everybody....and with ESPN equating this with some huge massive upset is just annoying....I read this crap all the time.....not to sound cocky but only 1% of the public and media really know the true depth of the men's game............man this pisses me off............and one last thing with regards to this match...........look at the stats of the match.....you will see that Muller BEAT Andy...Andy did NOT lose! And yes I watched the whole match.......it was a well played match...Muller deserved to win.............and as for him getting destroyed next round...sure that can happen....why because it men's tennis............EVERYBODY can beat EVERYBODY.....why do ya think I pick so many huge dogs in tennis......I mean I am some washed up crappy ex tennis pro and I have some wins over these guys :mj07:

so I'll say it again..........the depth in men's tennis is INSANE..........just go watch a tourney and watch #200 play #25 and tell me that you can tell the difference...............watch #200 play number 25 in the chicks.....well that's a different story!

I have only found a few places that talk about tennis, the more that can post their take the better. I value both yours and Anders plays.
