Her opponents Mauresmo and Rubin have been in decent form in recent times. Serena, on the other hand, should have gone to three in her last match but won five staright games when Davenport led 5-2 in the second. Was this a sign of how little tennis Davenport has played recently? If a third set had been played in that match do you think Serena would be as big as favorite. Also, factor in the possibility that there is an outside influence on the match and you have to take the underdog.
