Talk about last minute.......Kyle and Hoss were safe, but the Eagles have just crashed over to make it 39-26 to the US.

Great call Hoss...looks like a lot were on board!! :D

Kyle,

As to your point regarding kicking. You are absolutely right.....these kickers in rugby are streets ahead of anything in the NFL. It has always been something I thought about, as to why the NFL dont recruit more from rugby. It has been done in the past, but guys like Johnny Wilkinson and Neil Jenkins will bang over 30-50 yard kicks in front of the posts with their eyes closed.....and would probably get paid ten times more money to do it in the NFL!

Glad everybody a winner this morning, but shame there will be so little coverage of it in the USA. This tournament is the third most watched sporting event globally, yet a country like American cant find time to fit it into their hundreds of channel schedules!

Thanks for the scoring updates guys. You are right absolutely no coverage here in the states even for the USA game. What a shame.
Crooky, I've often wondered about why the NFL doesn't even look at these great kickers. I do remember about 10 years ago the kicker from SA (can't remember his name for the life of me) was given a try-out with Dallas. Didn't make it through hardly the 1st cut. He could kick goals from 40-50 yards from the touchline for christ's sake. I guess they just don't take them seriously. They have guys in there now that can't get it to the endzone on a kickoff never the less make a 50 yard field goal.
