Interesting....

Sportsbook.com is not posting where the bets & money is coming in on this game like they do for every other game on the board.

Wonder why?

Scotty -

Thanks for the research on the game - hope you enjoy it and good luck with your bet. BTW- what could you get for that ticket if you sold it?

I will go create a new thread for you to talk in. I'm gonna call it "Oregon should have been in the BCS" You can go post in it, and dont come crying to me when the only respones you get are "you're crazy" "you're dumb" etc.

Are you a criticizer of the BCS too?

I think the BCS had the right idea of pairing 1 vs 2.......the rest is politics to me........Should Oregon have played in the Fiesta Bowl, I dont know.......But anyway you slice it, they still had only one loss to the best team in the country.......I'm in favor of a 16 team playoff and I'll always be

Thanks.

My USC ticket? I have 2 of them (going with my Dad) I prob. could get $2500 for both but that was days ago. Prices prob. dropped. Who knows. I'd sell it for 2500 each! :mj07:

Endzone seats were going for $500 each.

Early 2003 season on the road @CAL. USC lost in triple OT. USC kicker missed 37 yard fg. CAL then made theres.

In the 1st OT I think USC had a 15 yard run to goal line and the USC RB fumbled right at the 1 yard line after the big run. SUCKED! :cursin: Then CAL got their FG blocked! :)

I think it was Leinarts 3rd or 4th game as QB.

I noticed that too. I will say this though. Their ML has dropped from +250 a few days ago to +175 today. Thats gotta be the BIGGEST ripoff on the net for odds of Texas winning tonight. Plus they REFUSE to drop the line below 7. That tells me theres mostly Texas ML money coming in there, and the side is probably close to 50/50 because the 7 has their standard -110 juice still.

Funny because +175 is AWFUL on a 7 point dog. AWFUL. Shouldnt be below 2-1 IMO. Also strange that it opened at 6.5 there but they are reluctant to go that low now?

They have been. Its just they updated the ncaa portion of that page 3 times, on Mondays. For example, on Sunday night, you couldnt see the trends for the games from monday through now. That info wasnt up till Monday around noon.

In the first week of bowl games, you couldnt see the trends for week two either.

This texas/usc is an exception. The game is LISTED but the trends portion is just blank

USC last 3 losses............... :(

2003 USC lost to CAL in triple OT. USC kicker missed FG. @CAL

next loss was early in 2002 season when USC lost in OT to Washington St. USC kicker missed FG. @WSU.

Also in 2002 season USC lost early in season to Kansas St by 7pts. USC kicker missed easy FG and PAT early in game. USC had ball on KSU 20 yard line and went 4 and out. USC WR Mike Williams I think dropped 4 or 5 passes that hit his chest. But he was frosh in hostile environment. @Kansas St.

Pete Carroll has only lost by double digits ONCE at USC and that was 11pts I think @ND where USC blew a lead. :cursin: Year 1 of Pete Carroll.

Well by that logic, Boise St. got robbed last year too then because they had no losses! Then they couldnt even beat Louisville! I'm not saying its perfect, its just strange to hear criticism this year because it was perhaps the MOST UNCONTROVERSIAL year in its history!

Quick question -

Considering the playing environment as well (at the shoe or at the Rose bowl), do you think the SC defense is a better opposition for the Texas offense as Ohio State was back at the beginning of the season?

Scotty: I know we have had our debates here before, mainly about USC/ND. We're just 2 very enthusiastic supporters who really follow our teams closely I guess. I know how much you love your team, and especially with the $$$ riding tonight, I say Good Luck man! Really hope you pull this out, not only as a trojan fan but as a gambler!

Always wanted to ask you this though: how bad were you sweating on 4th and 9 at ND stadium? I know its possible USC coulda still played for the NC with a loss there, but with the undefeated season wager too? Jeez I think I woulda had heart failure!

Like I said its all Politics to me, it didn't affect me one way or the other if ND was in or not, well actually I made money on Ohio St that game, so it did affect me......but I rather have a team cry for not making the top 16 then not get a chance to play in the spotlight b/c of money......

GREAT job Scott.

Regardless if you guys agree or disagree with him, that is very concise info and it took a long time for Scott to research and he shared it with us

Check the avatar, I'll be rooting for the PAC-10 :toast:

not sure, depends on matchups...BUT....I know one this is for sure...USC will put up more than 22 pts vs Texas....Ohio St put up 22 pts on Texas when their offense was so out of sync in the beginning of the year...USC is at least 5x more dangerous than that offense on the 2nd week of OSU season...

Scott, how is USC's kicker????......I know David Pino from Texas is pretty consistent, but if for some reason it came down to a field position and FG game, how reliable is this guy?
