i agree, but not only that Texas beat the #1 rushing D, #3 by 41 in kansas, and #9 rushing D in colorado twice, once by 67 points. Anyone who says well look at the teams they played that doesnt mean anything, well Kansas dismanteld a High scoring houston team, colorado stuck it out against a tough clemson team. OSU put it in the "very advanced offensive minds over there at ND.

That being said SC is #24 and that is in a conference where all they do is throw the ball. People talk about SC secondary being in trouble because they havent been able to stop anybody this year,I would contend that the DL is going to be in trouble and they wont be ableto stop texas on the ground who will control the tempo and win the game.
Take Texas and take the under

usc will find a way to expose the Texas defense. carroll will expose them.

one weakness that osu and tamu showed in texas was the inability to stop the option. i dont expect leinart and bush to do that though. texas has stopped the rush this year. they have stopped the pass. but i dont think they've seen a true multi-dimensional offense.

i do see usc mixing it up well. lendale, reggie, leinart...all will keep texas on their toes. you cant just focus on one or the other or you will get burned.

chizik will have to call one helluva game to help stop the usc offense to keep texas in it.

on the flip side, i fully expect usc to stack the line and beg VY to throw it. early on, you're going to get at least 1 INT from him and that could force texas to play catch up the entire night.

i think texas has the slight advantage in special teams.....
i think texas has the slight advantage in defense
i think usc has a decent advantage in offense
and most importantly i think usc has the coaching advantage.

i dont think mack sucks. i dont think he'll choke this one.
(some like to say so but he has proven himself a lot lately that he's over that hump). i think mack has learned a lot over his coaching tenure at texas.

texas has the athletes to hang with usc, but i think in the end, texas will get outcoached.

Dizzy, I don't even know why Texas is even bothering to show up, didn't you hear ESPN picked USC to win.

I'm sure Carroll can come up with a defense to stop the Longhorns but it all comes down to is execution of the defensive game plan. I don't think the USC defense is going to be able to get it done.
