First home game for Tulane and Utep has a few key issues. Utep is 3-1 after a loss to Memphis in their last game before the bye. This team has 12 to's & 6 came in the last game , 5 from Palmer the QB. Palmer has a injury to his ribs. Their best DE is lost for the season,Mineo was a guy that had to be doubled ,led the team in sacks , one of those guys that made everyone on the line look better.No sacks last game with out him. Utep may also be with out key receiver Francies. Tulane is 2-2 with 17 starters back TO Utep's 11. They have had 1 common opponent : Tulane lost 35-14 and Utep beat HOU 44-41. Tulane looks like the same team as last yr but has new receivers that have not blended well in the offense. Last yr Tulane lost to MISS ST and HOU 28-7 & 24-3. This yr their two losses have come to these teams again 21-14 & 35-14. Last yr Tulane went on to win 3 st after the Hou loss.The coaches are 2nd yr Price from ALA & Tulane has 7th yr Chris Scelfo. Both teams opponents have combined records of 8-14 & 8-13. I think who's out for Utep may be the key to this one but not sure yet. The money is on Utep 70 to 80 %. Still working this one and posting this is part of the process. Any thoughts ?

Personally I dont see this game hitting the mid fortys, much less the lower 50's. Get it before it gets any lower.

Bryanz-- Tulane will not play any home games this season. The superdome will be out of operation for the entire season. GL:weed:

Even without the trends (which I only use if I am a humpty dumpty and dont know which side to fall on and have the bet itch), I cap this at 47 with 6 point variance either way. Admittedly, I am not the best capper in the world, but I do pretty well on capping totals after each team has played 4 games.

Saw on ESPN lastnight when Tulane players was interview, their said that their home game will be play at LA Tech stadium and their dome is accross the street from the stadium. ESPN also show that for the pass 2-3weeks players was sleeping on the floor and lounch chairs, pretty much like a homeless people. So I don't know how mind and energy do they have to put in on any of the game for the rest of the season.
UTEP is off an away loss at Memphis.......UTEP is 3/12 ats off an away loss........the dogs were good last night and they should be good again tonight.......line moving down though better move quick to get the 7
