That explains the "Thunder Math", we clearly forgot about the tips......and don't forget he hands out Madjack T-shirts to those dudes on the sidewalks with those "stripper/escort cards".

You also forgot to factor in the 10 thousand dollar oysters.

My stomach hasn't been right today at all and I didn't even think that it was caused by those oysters but that's exactly why.

I was thinking it was because of the 4 or 5 shots of Sambuca I had. Nope! It had to be the oysters. As much as I like oysters it might be time to stay away from now on.

I never really understood what is the proper way to tip those girls on signers. I remember exactly how much I tipped for each one. I give them the odd amount.

$1720 - $20 tip
$1610 - $10
$8040 - $140
$1640 - $40
$2500 - I grabbed a $20 bill from my pocket
$1640 - $40
$4040 - $40

One guy that was sitting next to me tipped the girl $100 on a $2500 hand pay. I thought that was too much.

After BJ i gave the cashier $10 when he paid me my $6610. He didn't even thank me. WTF?

What do you think Lance, you work in the industry?

The guy that served me the oysters and beer got $25 on the $91 tab. That was a little excessive because he didn't bring me the oysters. All he really did was pour my beer.

At the bars out here it is customary to tip 10% of the jackpot hand...in the casinos I tip between 20-100 bucks usually on a 1600 or 1750 handpay (I play keno) only hit one higher (3500 in Dec and gave her 300).

Friday is my Dad's last night in Vegas forever (he had been coming for the last 8 years from Dec-April) but I can't stand his wife and it blew up big time this year so probably be the last time I see him in person on this side of Heaven. Sat is out too...will be watching the Masters final round on Sunday if you wanna meet up or free all day Monday (golf or lunch or dinner).

I hope to see ya at some point but if not, kick some major ass and keep the awesome posts coming. I love living vicariously thru you Bossman!!

I'll get back to you about Monday. That'll probably work.

Tip who 10%? The bartender? No way I'd tip $800 on that Royal from last night. Or even $400 on my quad aces hand. Nope.

I sure hope Nevada Casinos split the tips amongst all the staff. Because tipping the person that gives you the cash (hand pay) seems kind of silly. I mean what about everybody else that works around the slot machines (cleaning staff, technicians, bartenders, etc, etc)? Why should the person that hands you the cash get the tip and not everybody that works "the floor"? And umm.....that is pretty much their job to hand you the cash now isn't it? Does one tip a bank teller for giving you cash from a big Sportsbook or Lottery win?

It just seems odd that some casino employees get tips but others do not. I mean of ALL the people that work at a casino that deserve a tip, it is the cleaning staff, and almost nobody tips them.

Just my two cents:0008

I said at the bars it's 10%, they feed you drinks like a MF'er unlike the floor service...at Red Rock it's between 20 bucks to 100 for a handpay depending on how bombed I am....

I overtip...worked in the industry so I've always been a good tipper. I tip a 5 for every 2 drinks I get from the cocktail waitresses. If I hit a handpay I give them a 20....I ain't taking it with me when I go...

Now I wanna go drop 800 at the casino....it's a work night so I normally stay home (4am comes early), but shit you are giving me the itch...

Perfect!!

I know it's No -12500 and yes +20000, but if you wanna get off the Strip and come hang with some friends and the dogs on Sunday to watch the final round of the Masters, I'm having a BBQ at the pad....I'll even come get you if you need me to. I'm like 15 minutes from PH on a Sunday morning (8 miles, you could walk it---like walking from Mandalay Bay to the Rio)

Well done, that is a rare occurrence, almost nobody tips the cleaning crew (or housekeeping), and they deserve the tips more than anybody else does.
