committee succumbed to olsen's whining about lack of respect for pac ten. but who jumps 10 spots like this? just think what would happen in ncaa football if it happened before bowl selections
I just don't understand how they put the seedings to teams.. the RPI is supposed to put all teams on the same footing, looking at record and strength of schedule..
Again this year, my beloved UW Badgers get a raw deal.. 14th in RPI and get a #6 seed - it should have translated into a #4 seed...
They got jobbed last year with a #6 seed - and watched Illinois get a #5 seed last year - even though UW beat them 2 out of 3 games and had a better record and RPI...
I really think there is a lot of politicing and and ass kissing going on in the selection room - and you know one of their main concerns is getting attractive matchups for TV in the 2nd round and later - rather than having a true bracket based on how teams did during the year....
It's all about the money - nothing else.. TV dollars drives all
jump on wash now.dont like the fact they are number 1 either cause not a sleeper any more.but this team is not an early out.final 4 min.they have more heart than most, and will prove what im telling you soon.and im a big east guy.cuse fan.by the way they are my 2nd choice.gl in the tourny whoever you pick.
You know you could really make a case for Nate as being the best pt grd in the country....for 5'8 he sure gets to the rim and gets his shot off against the tall guys.....and they go 10 deep. Outscoring Zona by 18 when they were down by 10 at half shows a lot. Lets not forget how well Arizona was playing and Salim was hot, hot, hot. Not to many guys in this tourney who can lite it up like Salim.
