I didn't mean to upset the applecart so to speak. Sure Hoya was good/dominant, generated a lot of interest/money for the sport, but all I was trying to say is that to be "great" he needed to win a few of those loses he had. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you see him lose in colossal fashion against pacman. It is one thing to hang on too long and lose towards the end of one's career, but he never stood a chance in the last fight and for that perhaps I am taking my disappointment a little to far.
