Thanks to all for posting! I think of kcwolf every day and he and his wife are always in my prayers. I met him from Madjacks by emailing. We had never met in person until a Madjack party in Nevada. I mentioned that I couldn't get a room because they were already sold out. He offered to share his room with me saying "I smoke, I drink and I snore but you are welcome." I took him up on the offer and we became very close friends. It was super meeting everyone at the party - Terryray and many others. On a cross country road trip he allowed my friend and I to stay with him in Wichita (before he moved to Iowa). We had a great time. Another time I flew there and we attended a Chiefs' game against Denver! One of the best times I ever had!! It was the loudest place I've ever been and I've attended dozens & dozens of rock concerts. Ha. I am honored for Wayne to call me his best friend. Very, very honored. We emailed and/or talked daily.

I post very little but have admiration for the great 'cappers and posters here and have tremendous thanksgiving for you all.

I lived in KC around 2002 and I was just out of college and connected with Wayne. I had a work trip to Wichita and met up with him at his hangout restaurant. Hung out for hours and he couldn't have been more gracious. Met up a couple times at Chiefs games and when we moved from KC we kept in touch. Great man and agree with others sentiment that he is missed. ​​​​
