he's looked

maeda -105

wish i had the same line on Maeda.

:00x32

Yahya has incredible jiu jitsu, but not much of an MMA fighter IMO.

:00x32

.... and hell, Maeda managed to defend against Torres' sub attempts.

:00x32

Yahya has terrible takedowns and virtually no standup.

I think i'm gonna tail u with that play, muhr.... even though my line is weaker.

we talkin` about the same guy?...paulo filho?...he fought sylvia, mirko and herring?....

wait a minute...you`re talking about nogueira....o.k.....lol

when i was mentioning body composition,i was talking about filho...

i`m on nogueira vs mir....i do think he`s "frayed" a bit also...but i think he`s got enough to handle mir...i

i like maeda,too...they must have just put the line up....

granted he has on a shirt, but, this filho looks strong and cut...the filho on the weigh in video looks soft and puffy...

the old pride filho toys with sonnen,imo...this filho,i`m not so sure...

maybe my eyes aren`t what they used to be..

i agree with you on filho. i think he was a user and i wouldn't be surprised if his mental problems were tied to that. depression isn't uncommon if a user doesn't know how to quickly restore testosterone production after ceasing drug use.

The two men touch gloves and Maeda is the first to land a punch. Yahya shoots and the two clinch. Against the fence, Maeda jumps in to a guillotine. Yahya goes to his knees and the choke looks incredibly tight. The few fans that are in the hard rock live are screaming because it looks so tight. Still cranking on it for over 30 seconds, Yahya finally escapes. At the mid-way point of the first frame, Yahya stacks and Maeda pushes him away with his feet and the two men clinch against the cage. Yahya jumps for a guillotine of his on and works for it on the floor. Its deep and the Japanese fighter taps at 3:30 of round one.

"The fight was not easy. Had to train a lot and diet,? said Yayha. ?Maeda is a dangerous fighter. Every second of the fight I had to keep my perception.?

"He was definitely ready to fight against my game. It was great.?

ARGHGHHGH!!!!!! sounds like he almost had him out before he got caught himself. shit !

This just in.....

This just in.....

:director: Jose Aldo is THE REAL DEAL

-Jose Aldo vs. Jonathan Brookins
R1 ? Brookins easily has the size and reach advantage, but Aldo starts off doing a good job with crisp boxing technique and some brutal leg kicks. He appears to be much faster than Brookins. Aldo is being very effective with several kicks to the inside of Brookins' right thigh, and then starts lighting him up with boxing combinations.

MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Aldo.

R2 ? Aldo finally comes from the outside with a kick to Brookins' right leg and sends him to one knee, but he bounces right back up. Aldo continues to stalk the taller fighter and keeps rocking him with his boxing. Brookins tries for the takedown, but Aldo fends him off and starts attacking the leg again. Brookins is now noticeably feeling the effects of the leg attack.

MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Aldo.

R3 ? Aldo continued his leg assault before landing a straight right that dropped Brookins and his mop of hair to the mat. Aldo was relentless then, following up with several more strikes before the referee stopped the fight, handing the Tito Ortiz prot?g? a loss.

Jose Aldo def. Jonathan Brookins by TKO (Strikes) at 0:45, R3
