WEC 41: Brown vs Faber 2 - June 7th

Brown looked emotionally broken down after the fight...wonder if he just misses his family or something but that is not what I like to see after you got your belt back. Also his hippie beard and change in tone was weird. Good win for him but he needs to take a few weeks off relax then get back to the gym.

Brown will destroy Aldo, aldo is just a weaker version of Faber. I bet Brown would be -300 vs aldo, but well see. It gives Faber time to rest up and let brown fight Aldo. Really enjoyed the fights last night. Pettis looked good

I like Brown and think he's good but he didn't impress me a ton last night. He barely got any hits on Faber, the one area he dominated was in takedowns but did little damage on the ground. Faber's hand didn't just hurt him with his striking, you have to think it hurt him in the clinch and on the ground. His hand is jacked up, I'm not sure who all looked at the xray but it's a bad break.

I think Faber would have punished Brown with his striking if not for the break. I thought his speed would be too much and even though he had to use elbows he still made contact. Just like Brown said after the fight, he coudn't get to his head. Because Faber was having to strike with his elbows I think he was having to fight too close and allowing Brown to get clinches easier.

Congrats Brown squares, you earned it. Lol just kidding. No broken hand and Faber wins easily. He had him in so many submissions that with a normal hand it was over in the 2nd. Ah well

if they keep paying him i think he'll fight again. once a guy starts to lose it gets easier to accept and 30k for several seconds work ain't bad.

I think you guys are forgetting that fighters get paid more than what's reported. There's sponsorship money, special bonuses the organization may have paid fighters, and other undisclosed pays.

Like, do you really think Diaz only made 30k in his strikeforce fight??
